Ain'T She Sweet Cafe

This is not your everyday sandwich shop. If you are want something different, hearty, healthy, and filling, then Ain't She Sweet Cafe is your spot. Did I mention that there's no red meat? There are also veggie options for those prefer no meat at all. My favorite sandwich hands down is "The Steve," - a delicious turkey lunch meat mix, with turkey bacon, jardiniere, your choice of toppings and spreads- named after the guy who created it. I also love their smoothies (ask the owner to make it for you - she's fabulous) and their soups. My favorites are the gumbo and turkey chili- better than homemade. And if this isn't enough, the art deco and atmosphere brings a jazzy feel to the place. There is also a gorgeous enclosed patio - but I think you have to attend a catered event to enjoy it. Great place, you won't be disappointed!

This sandwich shop has the appeal of an old style shop w/modern day flare. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing, my favorites are the jerk chicken wrap and the sanwich that contains a combination of turkey meats, w/turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, all the fixings piled on a croissant--divine! They offer a variety of shakes, homemade fruit drinks, chips, cookies, and cakes to accompany your sandwich, soup, or salad selection. You can also browse the art on the walls, which by the way is for sale. For the late night eaters, the shop closes relatively early, around 5 or 6 on the weekday, so get in early--the food is even tasty when cold! Prices are average and the portions are healthy so it's worth every penny, Would definitely recommend.
