I went to this place hoping to get a "greener" dry cleaning experience and instead have had many, many items of clothing ruined. I brought in three silk items that were worn only once. One item came back looking as if it had been worn about 300 times, one item came back with a hole in it, and another was missing some custom beads that I now have to go out and find. We brought two of the items back (didn't bother with the shirt with the hole in it after our experience) and nobody that worked here seemed to care in the least that our items were ruined. They seemed to feel completely unaccountable for what happens to the clothing when it's being cleaned. I am so disappointed and will definitely NEVER be going back.

Greener Cleaner in Wicker Park.
When I walked in, the manager did not say good morning, hello or make me, the customer, feel welcome at all. She asked me how many items were being dropped off, my address/phone number and advised I could pick them up on Friday. Never once saying thank you. The receipt specifically stated the items can be picked up by: FRI 12/21/07 9:59AM
I haven't experienced customer service like this in a while. Especially, in the Wicker Park community where everyone seems to go out of there way to make connections with their customers. We're all neighbors and we treat each other kindly
When I returned to pick up my items. The same manager, and again - no welcome, no greeting, no customer service. When I gave her my name, she looked for my items and advised that they would not be back until after 3PM. I asked if this was stated on the receipt she provided on Tuesday and she said she did not know, but items are never available before 3PM on the day the items are ready. This was not advised when I dropped off my laundry - or I would not have left my items as I knew I would be traveling by 3PM.
I went home and looked at my receipt. Again, it clearly states: FRI 12/21/07 9:59AM.
I returned and showed the manager the receipt. She advised that it prints THE WRONG DATE & TIME ON EVERY RECEIPT. And just because it states it would be ready by that time - it will not be ready by this time. No solution was provided.
Alarming: Why would every receipt print the incorrect pick-up date & time? I asked for the contact information of someone above her, so I could share my concern. She advised she was the manager, did not provide her name - and that there was no one else to speak to. I was speechless. The rude nature of her behavior was beyond unacceptable. I had to ask three times before she would provided the owners contact information.
