4 Stars: Baladoche is good but pricey (by Pamela H.)

The waffles are really unique. They taste like a cinnamon free roll made into a waffle. But it's really pricey, especially for the size. Besides, where else can you get a Douwe Egberts Mocha with Nitrous Oxide in it?

4 Stars: Baladoche, a great treat for your sweet tooth! (by Ariel S.)

Baladoche is one of the cutest places in Rogers park! It's dessert only, which slightly confused me because they were sampling waffles, but let me tell you, I'd be 5,000 lbs if I kept going back! The staff is energetic, nice, and really knows their stuff! Their waffles are a little pricey (like $4 a waffle, and about $6 for the packs of really thin waffles-which are great breakfast foods when you're running late) but it's fine and unique European dessert. As a bonus, the coffee is excellent. I particularly enjoyed the free Wifi and the decorations. I'd highly recommend Baladoche to anyone!

4 Stars: Baladoche (by Katie W.)

Baladoche is a really nice retreat from the general Roger's Park area business. They opened in summer of 2008, and the owner is clearly a very passionate man who really knows his gelatto! The service was very friendly and very generous about samples, as well as knowledgeable about their product. I would definitely recommend this authentic taste of European sweets! They are affordable, clean, and the cafe has a great vibe with couches and Internet access available. My experience there was great, and I would definitely go back!
