Waiter was nice, but getting the food out was very slow. Flys in the restaurant. Appetizer had beans in it that were hard. Pasta sauce with meat was waaayy too salty. And to top off this fine dining experience, there were screaming children at the table across from me.

Pros: Nice waiter

Cons: food serves slow, beans undercooked, flys in room, screaming kids.

I have been here twice now and have not been disappointed either times. The first time I sat outside on a hot summer day and enjoyed some white wine to take away from the humidity. I had the spinach salad with goat cheese, pine nuts, and cranberries with a wild cherry vinaigrette. Although the salad is normally a starter, it was satisfying as a whole meal. My boyfriend had the pasta with mussells. The forkful I had was delectable as well.

The second time I came it was a bit colder so I sat inside but still near the front so I could watch the people walking by. There is a back room which might be cozy in the winter, I will have to check it out. I had the veal and my mom, who was visiting, had the raviolli a la vodka. We like to trade dishes halfway through so we each get to try different offerings on the menu. My veal was great but the ravioli was awesome. We had two pieces left over, and while not a full meal, we took them home because we were not letting them go to waste.

The food is exceptional here. This is my favorite neighboorhood restaurant so far.

Sidewalk seating in front gives way to a deli, cafe and wood-trimmed main dining room in back that's decorated with images of unusual conical-roofed homes common in Alberobello, Italy. The menu is heavy on Italian classics, like caprese…
