This is NOT the only cheer gym in Champaign/Urbana. Top Star Training Center competes cheer leading as well.

The Bad: This club is run by team parents in a very unprofessional and dishonest manner. The annual cost is rather substantial (approx. $2,000 per year) for a total of 7-8 competitions. They are constantly asking for additional funding (unexpectedly) for a variety of clinics/items - for things that should be included in the monthly fee. The coaching staff is head by a parent whose track record leaves a lot to be desired and the other staff are not up to par with competitive cheer standards. In addition, the teams generally do not perform well compared to the other gyms in their bracket; It's a lot of money to spend to end up last place the majority of the time; and each competition lasts 2 minutes. The good: They let any girl (whose willing to fork up the cost) to compete, regardless of ability. This is good for the girl who would not otherwise be selected for a typical competitive cheer team.Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding this gym if you want to save a lot of money and avoid many headaches. Unfortunately, if you want to do competitive cheer, this is the only place in Champaign-Urbana, IL.
