For everyday items, this store is fine. However, avoid the bakery if you plan to order any cakes. They not only got the year wrong on our cake and messed up the cake type, but the "accessories" were not even the ones for that cake, and the frosting looked as though it was a home job by someone with a very shaky hand, uneven and lumpy, thick in some parts and non-existent in others. There were also brown flecks of something (wood fibers?) in the frosting. When speaking to the management, they did nothing, the bakery person was very snotty, and when presented with the huge variance in looks from the picture, simply claimed it was because the picture was done by "professionals". Ummm...I thought the hy-vee bakery was supposed to be staffed by professionals as well? And why sell a cake if, as she claimed, they didn't have the tools to make it?

This is also the store that a friend of mine got sick from, because they added walnuts into bakery items and then did not put allergy warnings on or list the walnuts in the ingredients.
