Eivan's Photography

I just returned from my initial consultation with Eivan's and I feel compelled to clear the air about this company. A.J. not only opened the office an hour early to accommodate me, but he sat with me for over two hours and answered every question I had. During no point during the consultation did I feel that I was being pressured or that is was all a sales pitch. A.J. was friendly and personable yet very professional. I told him what I wanted in my package and he was able to assess my needs and match me up properly. I was pleasantly surprised at how much you get with the package for the cost.

Now before I went into Eivan's I read all the reviews and still went in for my consultation. I brought the negative reviews up with A.J. (because there are always two sides to a story) and he explained the situations to me very clearly. It's obvious that people tend to flip the story around when the outcome isn't in their favor. Typical.

Please DO NOT let the nay-sayers below give you an ill impression of this company. I had sat with over five different photography companies but after my thorough consultation with Eivan's, I immediately booked because of how comfortable and happy I felt with A.J. and Eivan's. A.J. went over the contract with me over three times so I fully understood it. (I have a degree in English, not Law)...Give Eivan's a chance and you will NOT be disappointed. I look forward to my upcoming engagement session with Eivan's and will update again.

It is coming up to my first year anniversary and I made a promise to Sam that I would continue to proclaim my love for their services and dedication to my needs as their client. Sam was initially very professional when we first met him. The details and specifics of the contract were his number one priority. It was his intent to make sure we understood all that was included in our package and I greatly appreciated his attention to detail. Once the business aspect was concluded and we made our decision to hire Eivan's to document the most important day of our life, the relationship quickly turned into a partnership. The engagement session was set up and we were blessed to have worked with one of their photographers, Bill. Bill is not only an incredible addition to the Evian's team, he was exactly the personality that we were looking for. His humor and ability to connect with us almost instantly was comforting. The wedding consisted of 300 people from all walks of life and the last thing I wanted was someone with NO personality. Sam was able to schedule Bill to capture not only our engagement session but also our wedding day. Sam was always available when I started getting nervous about the details of planning a large wedding. When it came down to just one week before the wedding, I requested for a second photographer to be added. I was concerned that with the amount of people that responded I would not have all the pictures I wanted. At this point in the game, the extra money was worth it. Sam was able to schedule a second photographer, Matt, to meet at the church. My trust in Eivan's is clear when I contracted not only two photographers but their videographer, Vic. The Evian's family was able to capture 2000 pictures of our wedding day that we continue to get compliments about one year later. Our video was absolutely amazing! Their dedication to the photography profession and the professional yet personal manner in which they run their business is hands down what we signed up for. I continue to spread the word of Eivan's with nothing but sincerest satisfaction. I will be contacting them when it is time to capture the second most important part of my life, my children. We wish you had agreed to our offers prior to going to court. You would be $3750.00 richer today and would have avoided all the costs and anguish associated with it.

My husband and I just finished a lawsuit lasting 5 months, against Sam Jalouga of Eivans Photography. After pre-paying for out package a year in advance and exhausting all additional resources, we ended up settling for a partial refund and 143 unedited photos that my seven yr. old could have taken! It is our opinions, we ultimately ended up being the victims of a classic bait and switch scam. If you do not heed our warning and still consider doing business with Siad Jalouga, AKA Sam, make sure you exhaust all resources when completing your contract! You Have To Make Sure Everything Is In Writing! Do not rely on any type of verbal assurances promising delivery of anything not clearly defined in writing. Have everything in writing, no matter how important or unimportant it may seem. It may also be in any consumers best interest to check with the Better Business Bureau and other review and review sites before making any decisions. There is a lot of very valuable information out there on this individual and how he conducts business! After looking up Eivans Photography on the BBB, under the contract section it states, As with any business transaction, be sure to read all agreements, guarantees, and instructions before signing. Do not be pressured into signing an agreement before you are ready and you understand all terms and conditions. Make sure all oral promises are put in writing. Be wary of vaguely worded provisions, exclusions or limitations which could pose a problem later. My husband and I wish you the best of luck in your photographer search! Good Luck!

I know my review is long, but its honest and worth the reading! When my husband & I first set out to search for a photographer and videographer, we knew they had to be someone fantastic! The way we looked at it is, our wedding day comes once, and all you have left from that day (that seems to go by in an instant), is your photos and video. Thats all, just wonderful memories to cherish forever and pass on for generations to come. So when we met with Eivans, the choice was clear that they would be perfect to capturing the most important day in our lives. What a smart choice we made! Not one disappointment came from us, because they went above and beyond then what we expected. Leading all the way up to the day of our wedding, Eivans staff met with us on numerous occasions and was open to helping us create a package that suited our needs. We dont know what we would have done without Sam (Eivans President), responding to all our emails so promptly and answering all of our questions. He is truly a considerate, caring and accommodating person to work with, that constantly focused on our needs and wants and making us happy. Such wonderful customer service!
We were extremely impressed with how amazing our photos for our wedding turned out, and we had so many to choose from! There were pictures that were taken from our wedding day, that to us, are priceless! Not to mention how lovely our wedding video turned out and anyone that has viewed it got a little teary eyed, because the moments were captured so perfectly. Our photographers & videographers (AJ, Bill and Victor), really set out to capture the beauty and magic of our special day and succeeded beyond all expectations! They were all truly exceptional to work with. What a fun group of people to have by your side, capturing your wedding day. They were more than just professionals, but extremely talented and gifted people. Our special day was made magical because of their friendliness and professionalism that is so hard to come by in the world of photography and video. They made it so easy and comfortable for us, especially knowing how stressful planning and having a wedding can be! They really made this event in our lives spectacular and unforgettable!
We know that in the future we will not only continue to refer people to Eivans, but we will continue to be a customer!

Eivan's Photography did my wedding this past July and the pictures from my wedding turned out GREAT!! My photographer was so patient and professional the entire day. After I selected my final pictures for my wedding album Sam J. (the owner)walked me through putting my album together and made sure I didn't have any difficulties. My name is Matt, I was the photographer for Leahs wedding. Let me start off by saying congratulations to both the bride and the groom on your marriage and pregnancy.
It has been my pleasure to work with Sam and the rest of his employees at Eivans. He is a man with pride and passion for his work and demands excellence for his clients. I have on several occasions seen Sam go above and beyond for his clients to ensure their happiness.
I photograph weddings because it is what I love to do I am dedicated to capturing all of the right moments and preserving these precious memories forever. I have shot over 30 weddings this season alone and all of the Brides have been thrilled with their images, as well as my character during the event. I would have thought Leahs wedding to be no different. Before I left the event for the day; Leah gave me a hug and Mike thanked me for being such a great guy. When I read this post, I was simply shocked.
Thank God we live in a country that allows us freedom of speech, giving us the right to share our opinions in forums such as this. However, there is a difference between an opinion, a statement of fact, and a lie. If you were unhappy with the images taken at your wedding, you have that right to say that that is your opinion. If you did not think I was nice, or did a good job as a general statement, you have the right to say that that is your opinion.
You cannot say I didnt call you that is a lie I did call you. You cannot say that it is only because you called me that I knew where to be and at what time. I knew exactly where to be and at what time. I called you to confirm this, and I was early to the event. I was scheduled to start at 9:45am and my first picture was taken at 9:41am. You cannot say that I didnt take pictures of you with your bridesmaids, or your groom with his groomsmen I did. All of the simple shots you said I missed were captured, they are sharp and well exposed. Stating that I missed these shots is a complete lie. If you remember correctly Leah, it was you that arrived late to the banquet hall, it was you that was having a panic attack and didnt want your pictures taken when you arrived. Yet, I still took pictures of you with your bridesmaids around you trying to calm you down. Was I supposed to interrupt you and pose your bridesmaids around you in the middle of that? I think not.
Leah and Mike, I want you both to know that I really do wish you the best, but I am deeply frustrated that you would make such lies about my work for some unknown reason, personal gain or otherwise it doesnt matter these are slanderous remarks.
Mike, your remarks about Eivans squeezing blood from this turnip is unwarranted. You are willing to make slanderous remarks about a man that has spent most of his life to build his business, attack my work, and yet you are the victim? It is clear that your purpose in this post is to steer business away from Eivans. You mention your struggling family, do you think the people at Eivans dont have a families? Do you think that I dont? What did you think would be result of your slanderous remarks?
To everyone reading this post, please believe me I wish Mike and Leah only the best I simply want all of facts to be known.

Eivan's photography has informed my wife and I that they are suing us for slander because my wife posted her dissatisfaction with them on yelp.com. I have taken it upon myself to inform the public of this, because I do not want other married couples to be threatened as we have. I thought that we were free to be dissatisfied; I also thought this was a free country where people are allowed to state their opinions in open forums without fear of reprisal. The decision they have made to sue us has pushed me to write this review. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.
