I was in a jam and they hooked me up!! I took my dead laptop in to the shop. The technicians were friendly and took the time to recover my data. Within 3 days, my dead laptop was fixed and returned to me. Keep up the good work!!! I would recommend them to anyone.

In my opinion, this isn't "just service," it's excellent service. Owner Tom always
puts his customers first and has always delivered his repairs on time. We've been taking
everything from broken VCRs to computers to Just Service for 20+ years and
have never had a bad experience. Last week I took my crashed computer to Tom
in desperation as I had a work project that was due. He was able to repair,
rebuild, and update my system, saving all of my files and getting it back in
time for me to meet my deadline. He is always incredibly patient and available
by phone to talk me through whatever computer problems I'm encountering. He also
educates customers about how to save time and avoid spam/viruses that could
mess up our computers. My husband and I highly recommend Just Service for repairs
on computers or any other electronic devices.

Someone else said "rip off artist". That fits perfectly. Smooth talking and clever will seperate you and your money with no results. Sold me a computer which he spun as cutting edge. Its componets were over ten years old which needless to say have serious compatibility problems. When you try to fix/upgrade an old componet like a sound card you get problems b/c new doesnt mix with old to put it simply. More importantly the bios, which is the backbone/brains of the computer, was over 10 years old could not be updated b/c the maker no longer publishes updates for this type of bios. So any upgrade or in this case repairs dont work b/c of the old bios. Charged way more than we had agreed. When I complained claimed that some other part was expensive. when that was investigated and found to be not true he claimed some other part was expensive. More to say but no room here.

They were sued for, "with bad intent", registering a domain name which they did not have real interest in.

Needless to say dont go there. Your repair likely wont justify suing them after they rip you off. Consider also for every bad review how many others were ripped off.

Oddly enuf the only positive review was for "just service" and against a competitor. I wouldnt put it past this guy to write a fake review. On another review site the positive review was by "tom" which happens to be the owners name...

Pros: none - unless you like to be ripped off.

Cons: dishonest with a sly manner.

My receiver was broken and they fixed in time for party I was having. They are very helpful and friendly. They also walked me through on the phone how to program my receiver for digital sound. I highly recommend this company. I was very impressed with their expertise.

Thank you so much.

Wish that other review had been posted before I took my Onkyo receiver in for service. My 3-month old Onkyo AV Receiver stopped sending video to the TV through the HDMI out. Talking to the techs at Crutchfield, we moved cables around and determined it was probably the upconverter, since component in would go to component out, but not through HDMI out, as it had been doing the past 3 months. Rather than mail it in to Crutchfield, I called Just Service and told them the problem as diagnosed. This is where I should have walked away: the tech on the phone told me my no receiver can take a component signal and send it out as HDMI. Even after I told him that's how it had been working for the 3 months up to now, he stuck to his guns that it didn't do what I had watched it do for 3 months. Unbelievably arrogant and rude, but my other options were to box it up and ship it, or drive 40 miles to a different service center. When I took it in and described the problem and gave him the solution, he just repeated "I can't promise I can make it do something it doesn't do. It can't take component input and send it out HDMI."

After 90-days of checking the "convenient" online repair update, I finally just called and said I need it now, repaired or not. He told me to come pick it up, unrepaired. When I picked it up, I asked what had been happening for the 90 days it was in the shop - he said he did "a lot" of research on the problem and came up with his original conclusion - it doesn't do what I told him it did.

Apparently his "research" didn't include page 32 of the owner's manual - "By configuring the AV receiver, input signals from the composite video, S-Video, and component video jacks can be output through the HDMI OUT." The only saving grace was that it was under warranty. If he had tried to charge me even one penny for his "research", I would have lost it.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, TAKE ANY ITEM TO THIS SHOP. YOU WILL REGRET IT ON SEVERAL LEVELS.

Cons: Tech knows nothing, and worse, thinks he does.

Took 6 weeks to get product back, wasn't fixed, refused to honor 90 day warranty, wanted more money to look at it again, very rude, only accepts cash, no easy recourse, owner (Tom) doesn''t know what he's doing. Check out other review sites to see other peoples comments that are similar to my experience. (Yahoo, Yelp, Yellowpages, google groups) Told me I didn't know how to use my own equipment and when I proved that it didn't work he told me he didn't like the manufacturer of my product (mackie) and said it was confusing! He is incompetent, no doubt in my mind. Recommend Deltronics instead.
