I had my son delivered by Dr. reynolds in 2005. Too bad she on maternity leave or I have her. I usually have Dr. pollard, but I had Dr. Jacobs last night to be checked to see if I have strep throat. I waited in the room for almost 30 mins

I was delivered 31 years ago by this practice, and saw them up until my late 20's.

From puberty on, I had complained to Dr. Pollard about extreme pain during my cycle. He suggested birth control, so I tried that, but was unable to continue due to some sort of allergic reaction, and I was given the impression that I just had to grin and bear it.

For 10 years, I did just that. However, at every yearly visit, I mentioned it, and every time, Dr, Pollard recommended Birth Control, and I had to remind him for the previous problem, at which point he had nothing for me.

The last time I saw him, I was told that the only thing that would help was "to get pregnant or have a hysterectomy". I immediately started looking for another doctor.

It turns out that I suffer from a very common condition, that is treatable, and has been treatable for over 30 years, with a prescription anti-inflammatory. The new doc was flabbergasted at why Dr. Pollard never mentioned the drug to me, especially since he had been in practice so long.

I don't know about the other docs at this practice, but though I hate to say it, don't bother with Dr. Pollard if he is still there. He doesn't seem to care all that much or remember things that well anymore.

Cons: Not caring, left me in pain for years.

Dr. Reynolds is an excellent female OB. She made me feel very comfortable during my regular exams and pre-natal exams. She's quite gentle, and takes ample time to explain everything so that the patient feels fully informed and in control.

Dr. Jacobs has delivered all 3 of my children. I was always able to only see him during my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies and he took very good care of me as i was high risk. He helped me with so much and did such a great job of delivering my little ones! He even left the office just to come and deliver my last daughter. The staff here are wonderful as well.

Dr. Mims was the OB that was on call when my baby was born. She was professional, personal, and caring all at the same time. I had a smooth wonderful delivery and part of that was due to her expertise in this field. If it wasn't for my mother seeing and later telling me, I never would have known that my daughter's umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. Dr. Mims made sure that my husband and I were not alarmed and remained calm. At my postpartum visit she took time out of her day to talk with me and make sure everything was going well for my daughter and myself. We discussed birth control options and she made sure that she put me on what I felt was the best option for my body. She really took the time to listen to me, and made me feel like I had a say in the decisions that were made.

Lyndhurst OB/GYN graciously took me in at 35 weeks when I was approved for Medicade and my previous OB/GYN dropped me. They made sure the transition was smooth and that I was completely cared for and made comfortable. I look forward to using them when my husband and I have our next child. They made sure that my questions were answered and that I was being cared for.

I absolutely love Dr. Jacobs. I had a bad experience with my 1st pregancy involving the OB doctor. So with my 2nd baby I was on the search for a new Doc. Everyone was so friendly at Lyndhurst but Dr. Jacobs was fantastic. He always listened and set my mind at ease. I was having a hard time emotionally and he saved my life!

I went to the Kernersville office, with both my pregnancy's. The first one 9-98/4-99,when my son was born by c-secion.Dr, Lindel was good Dr,Dr. Washburn delivered, he's good, too. With My second pregnancy 6-02/2-03, I saw Dr.Reynolds, she was amazing, friendly, and a great person.Another c-secion delivery, daughter, this time. She was great with my son, he couldn't wait to go to the next appointment each week. Wish there were more Dr. like her around, I've not found a Family Dr, that even comes close. Makes me wish I could have another Baby.
Miss seeing her every week. And everyone Loves the head nurse Febee!

I first starting going to Lyndhurst OB-GYN 25 years ago, before the birth of my first child. Down through the years, some things changed but my experiences with this group have been nothing but positive. There are some of the original doctors I saw back in the 80s still there and new doctors have been added, some of them female physicians. Every time I go, the staff is very friendly and act like they are glad to see me. I recommend this group of doctors highly to anyone looking for an OB-GYN!
