Medcentral is absolutely the worst medical care facility I've been to. Most of the staff is uncaring and have an attitude like they're doing you a favor by treating you.

I was there late Saturday afternoon. The doctor stood three feet away and never examined me. I'd informed the doctor about my history and the dosage requirement of medication that works for me for my condition. When the nurse came back in with the prescription script, I was concerned because the dosage was significantly less than what had worked before, also the amount to be taken each day was the same, where I needed a step-down dosage. After pressing this fact on the nurse several times, she consulted with the doctor and then told me that if the medication did not work, I did not have to come back into their office. All I had to do was call back on Sunday and they would call in another prescription to the pharmacy.

On Sunday, I start calling as soon as they are open, but I get their contract call center. I keep calling every ten minutes for almost one hour, and initially was told that Medcentral still had not opened, and later was told that they probably forgot to switch their phones back to their office. Finally, since I could not drive in my condition due to the side effects of OTC and prescribed medicines, we pack up the babies and headed into their facility. Well, I was lied to on Saturday. They would not give me another prescription. If I wanted to see a doctor again, I would have to wait my turn. To see the same doctor I saw on Saturday (the same doctor who did not bother to examine me and disregarded my concerns), we would have to drive across town (about 30 minutes away) and wait my turn there. I would have to pay yet another co-pay amount. Also, the nurse on Sunday informed me that even if I saw the doctor, the doctor would not prescribe me additional medicine until the current prescription ran out. After arguing with the staff for a while, we just gave up. The next day, Monday, we went to see my regular physician. As a physician should, he examined me, and gave me additional medicine for my condition. I absolutely do not recommend Medcentral to anybody, not even my worst enemy.
