I had an issue with a hard drive and took it to Anything PC on a Saturday afternoon. Ahmad was very helpful and gave me pricing on some options that he recommended. The option I chose required some soldering, so he had me speak with Steven, who is their on site soldering specialist (I doubt that the Geek Squad offers this). Anyway, when all was said and done, he was successful, however some of the pins on the chip were broken, but this was due to my tampering with the chip prior to taking it to Anything PC. I should have listened to Ahmad and gone with the first option, but I am not in the least disappointed with the service provided. They were honest and upfront about everything. They left an open invitation to return and try another route, which I plan on doing in the near future.

Bought a laptop from them 5th of aug worked good two days then noticed if you move it once and awhile it would cutoff. The power button would not work or anything lateron it would start working again so I did not think much of it then of course it starts again five days after 30 day warranty took back now there saying oh sorry 30 days are up out of luck if you spend more money to get it fixed we will give you 20% off repairs.Yea spend more good money on a bad product what I get for trusting them. Will not Buy from them again going somewhere else advise everyone do the same good luck

Very high prices on Desktop and Laptop Repairs. There are other computer companies that will do the same work at a friction of the cost. Prices on computer parts are also way overpriced. Shop around for better prices and much better customer service!!

Anything PC has been my go-to place ever since I found them. Their repairs are reasonable, and the guys inside are very knowledgeable. They've gone out of their way to help me troubleshoot problems, and any time I have issues they take the time to listen to me.

My Windows XP PC stopped booting so I took it into Anything PC for diagnoses. I was told that my data disk was bad (the data could not be recovered) but my boot disk was good but needed to have the OS reinstalled. I began to be suspicious since my preliminary diagnosis indicated just the opposite in terms of the problem disk. I let them proceed with a reload of the boot disk after they backed it up so I wouldn't lose the programs and photos that were on that disk. When I picked up the PC I was told that all of my data was gone, from both disks! They had backed up the data on the boot disk but the hard drive they'd back it up to crashed. Now this group may be not responsible for losing the data on my data disk but as a company charging money for their services and taking responsibility for customer's data, they have a responsibility to monitor their equipment for possible disk failures using available disk diagnosis software. I have now lost 15 years of irreplaceable data, memories - photographs, poems, sayings, correspondence-- as well as all of my graduate school work. This group is irresponsible and talking with Gary and Sonny gave me no assurance that they really know what they are doing when it comes to anything beneath the Windows interface!

Pros: they atleast exist in an otherwise desert of available IT support services in NC

Cons: store's diagnostic equipment is unreliable and a back up hard drive failure lost all of my data
