Ingles Market

I only go to this store just if I need something that I don't have time to run to Wal-MArt for. I do thing there prices are high. But, they have great customer service.

Ok - so writing a rewiew about a market may sound strange, but this Ingles location deserves a review!
First, I'd like to start with the manager, Phil. He has to be one of the most out-standing managers I have ever seen at work! And, I do mean - work! This is the nearest Ingles to where I live, so I frequent it at least twice a week. Phil is a hands-on manager who is ALWAYS smiling, friendly and helpful. Not only will he come out and help you personally when you have a question, but I have OFTEN seen him cashiering and even bagging groceries when things are busy. He always greets you as if you are a friend. I have never seen him cross with any staff member (I HAVE unfortunately seen that with other managers at other Ingles locations). You can tell that his entire staff is happy to be working there - and with him!
When there were a couple products that I was having trouble getting locally, he got the information from me and got them ordered! The produce manager has ordered special for me, as well as the meat manager.
When you walk in the store, it is attractively set, the floors and even the bathrooms are clean! I've even gone there when they are stocking, and things are still neat and orderly!
Regarding the pharmacy - well, the older male pharmacist could do with a personality updo - but his cheerful assistant is a peach!
Of all the Ingles stores I have shopped at, this is my favorite and I am REALLY happy that it is so close to home!
