This little eatery is high up there on the aesthetic scale, but lacking in the service. Their food is great (I love their chili) plus, they have tapas and wine tastings. The place is small and even though the food is good, its pretty expensive considering you're just eating bread and deli meat, which they like to call a panini. But, for a night out, it's fun.

Agree with previous review on location. But the food is fanatastic. Call and order to go if you are downtown. They have some unique lunch items and have a nice feel for a casual dinner!

I've only been here once, but that'll be enough for awhile. The service wasn't the best and the prices a little ridiculous. It may not have been the most spacious place I've seen and the music needed to be turned down. I did enjoy the food though!

I visited the Blue Moon Cafe on a beautiful afternoon. My guest and I wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. We had to wait approximately 15 minutes before anyone ever came to wait on us. We ordered two capuccinos and a cheese and fruit platter. Our waiter finally appeared with our order, but he had no tray with him, and held the two cups of cappuccino like we were old friends standing in his kitchen. Another waitress had to bring out the cheese and fruit platter. All of this could have been eliminated with the simple use of a tray. I had to ask our waiter for a fork and napkins. He apologized profusely and asked to forgive him because it "...had been a long day.." Gimme a break! It was barely 4:00 p.m. The fruit was old, tasted like fish, and was clearly water logged. I summoned another waitress because our waiter never came back to check on us. She was not at all pleasant about the situation, and instead of removing only lthe old fruit, she removed the entire platter, to include the remaining cheese. Our original waiter brought us another platter - sans cheese - and the fruit was still old. We didn't need to taste it to see that it was carbon dated. We told our waiter about this and he reported this to, I guess, the manager. She was very rude and explained to us that the fruit "had just been opened." Opened??? Opened from what? The only nice thing was that she did not charge us for anything. However, I mean, what could you charge me for? Rightfully, only the cappuccinos. In a nutshell, service was absolutely horrendous, and the food was absolutely atrocious. I will never set foot in that cafe again, and I will tell my many friends to do the same.
