Friend and I went there for lunch today, and the sample of teriyaki chicken drew us in. He ordered the teriyaki chicken and I ordered the teriyaki beef. The quality meat they use for the samples has to be a higher quality cut, because the actual meal was disgusting. The chicken was not good at all, the maki noodles I ordered tasted like wet dog, the beef was chewy and gross, and the cabbage was disgusting, only edible after covering with hot mustard. Do not let yourself be CONNED by their all white meat, tasty, juicy chicken sample, because they will serve you scraps.
Half of both of our meals ended up in the trash and we had to order more food somewhere else.
Thanks for nothing MAKI !!!! Go back to the carnival where CONMEN belong.

Pros: Free samples

Cons: Samples don't reflect actual food quality

For a mall restaurant, it goes in the bottom half. I've had my fair share of oriental noodles (lo mein, chow mein, etc) and "Maki noodles" is nothing more than spaghetti mixed with fried onions. All the meals, in fact, are half vegetables. They get more profit, you get a mouth full of vegetables with a noodle or chunk of chicken here or there.

I will, however, compliment the spicy chicken. Even though there isn't much in the portion, the chicken is probably the best in the mall.

Finally, the sanitation score isn't something to tell Mom about. It's in the low 90s, no higher than a 92.

Overall, not worth the price, but if you've got to have Japanese food, it's the second-best in the mall.

Pros: Good spicy chicken, fast service, not much of a line, lots of vegetables.

Cons: Small portions of real food, expensive for mall food, bland and unoriginal.
