I brought a car in for service, that I had purchased from them. During their ""repair"", they exploded both rear axles. Since then, they have refused to look at the vehicle again or return any calls.

We have had our Durango serviced many times here. When we started looking around (a year ago) we decided on the new Durango. We went in and met David Wynne, who was very helpful in the process. He took his time with us and understood we were not making a quick design. When the new Durango came out (six months later) we decided it was not what we wanted. We decided on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and started the process. I buy many fleet vehicles and this was no different. We set the price and purchased the vehicle. You need to see David when you are looking for a vehicle. He worked with us, called and gave us updates on delivery and followed up several times after the purchase. I will be purchasing a new truck in the next year and will definitely be buying from David. \r

This is a dealership. They have to make money. I am a business owner and understand the reality of overhead. I always ask, how much would you charge? The average person has no idea what it takes to run a business and have qualified trained staff. If you dont want to pay, find a friend and let them fix it until you are tired of fixing it and then take it to the professionals and have it done right.\r

I ordered a Jeep Grand Cherokee with just a verbal agreement on price. Jeep took over 3 months to build the car, but once it got to the dealership, they prepped it quickly for me to pickup that night. I was very concerned I'd get bait-and-switched after waiting 3 months. I must look like an easy target, because in every other car dealing of my life, the bottom line price always has included something previously unmentioned. I was pleasantly surprised to experience nothing of the sort. Even when the new Chrysler pricing sheet differed by a minor amount, the dealership was quick to honor the original price we agreed upon. They politely offered the warranties and various accessories, but were not in the least bit pushy when I declined. I was very happy and will buy from here again (if I buy a Chrysler)

I took my 2008 Sebring to Capital Jeep/Chrysler on Monday to get the convertible top fixed. I was told that the part they needed would arrive no later than Friday of that week, and they would call when it came in. The car is still under waranty, so I had to take it to a dealership to have the repair done.

When I hadn't heard from them by the next Monday, I called them to find out whether the part had arrived. After being kept on hold for a very long time, I was told that the part would be there later that day or by the following day (Tuesday) at the latest. I distictly got the impression that the order had "slipped through the cracks" and that the part had not even been ordered in the first place.

It is now two weeks later and I still hadn't heard from them, so I called. The service tech who answered the phone took all my information and kept me on hold for a little while, only to have someone else pick up the phone and he asked me to repeat everything I had just told the first person.

It's no wonder Chrysler (and many of the other American car companies) are having difficulties.

This dealership is known for being sneaky with service charges. Unfortunately, I was not aware of this until I had my own personal experience with them. I was not informed of actual labor costs when agreeing to service. I was charged $20.00 labor to insert 2 screws into the panel in my drivers seat. I was also charged $100.00 to insert a battery. These charges above and beyond excessive. Sadly, after complaining, management had no desire to work with us. Seems that at Capitol Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge the customer is anything but right.

I heard a lot about this dealership and it had came highly recommended as being a reputable place for good customer service, but it was not my experience. I spent a week conversing with Nick Nichols via phone/email for credit approval on a new/ used vehicle. In the end I was being told I only qualified of "one" vehicle that they had on the lot and nothing else (a 2003 model with high mileage). I was being given no other options. I hung up from Nick that very moment, made a call to another dealership I'd been talking to and allowed him to process my application and within an hour I'd been approved for a brand new 2009 model vehicle, something the guys at this car dealership told me was not possible. Several hours later when Barry Driver called me and had said he'd looked over my deal and the deal I had been offered was all that was possible and I mentioned I'd been elsewhere and already been approved and in the work up of a new vehicle he stammered over his apologies and got off of the phone really quickly. I've not heard another phone call from Capital CJD since. I think this dealership tries to take advantage of females of who try to do sales on their own without a male involved. I would not recommend coming to this dealership to purchase a vehicle without someone knowledgeable coming with you or without doing your homework first and knowing what you would/would not qualify for.

The guys at Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Garner are the best. I did an Internet inquiry and Ken the Internet salesperson responded promptly and answered all my questions. When I went in the numbers did not change. There were no surprises. The finance guy was great also. Would definitely recommend anyone to them.
