I have gone to almost all the Indian/Pak restaurants int he area and I dont think much of any one of them for the food. I ran into Olive Green at the International Festival this year and I got some food from there. The owners ran the stall

Horrible food. I used a Groupon and wasted my money. I will never eat here again. Service was terrible, restaurant was dirty and the food was awful. Definitely not good Indian food. Will not return.

I felt it to be authentic Indian Cooking mostly Mughlai style - I like their Samosas too and their special house chuney made with tamarind an dates (I think) **Must try. Good price for lunch boxes - for 5 bucks i we get a veggie box . I love this place. Weekend 'Buffet' you get goat fish and chicken with veggie dishes too it's 11 bucks .with a free flow of Naan's , this bread is awesome - they are the best.Anyways it a best kept secret in town. the whatever new management is should do a better job of marketing this place.

Dirty, service is way too slow, (we were the only customers there : i guess that pretty much says about the place), but heard that chicken dishes are good, vegetarian dishes were just ok. Can avoid it if you are a vegetarian

Went there with high hopes and a great appetite, all of which went away with the first bite. Was not up to the mark at all. Never went back ever since.

Olive green is one of the best places to eat non-vegetarian of indian and pakistani cuisine. The place is closed on Tuesdays conveniently as all other indian places close on Mondays. It is also right beside the Around the world market so we could stop on the way to groceries.!

Olive Green is a place which has Pakistani & Indian food buffet. True to its caption, it is an authentic place for the amount and variety of non-veg it provides and the tasty Dal... wow! It is a must-go place if you are craving for some yum-m-m Desi style chicken.. I did not taste the other Non-veg food so cannot comment on that. However, the only downside of this place is the bad serving plates; foam plates for a buffet is very inconvenient, added to that, the plates are really small and will only fit a finger snack than anything else. If you can ignore the bad serving plates and are patient with them, you will definitely walk out of the place happy n full!! Of course, true Desi, so be prepared to good amount of oil in the food too :)

King Kabob was bad....then the owners changed, and the restaurant was still bad, but the catering was really good. To be completely candid, the food is really good. However, these guys are conducting business in such a shady way that it's not worth the time and frustration.

They make up conditions and say it's part of the contract -- which is a joke and amended as they see fit to suit their mistakes and their needs over those of the customer. They'll agree upon a menu and price (in writing) and then call you and try to say "oops..i never should have agreed to such a low rate." They're hoping you'll pay them more. Thy'll stick to the original contract, but only when forced.

When I hired them for a catering job, they showed up late, without all of the food (though what was there tasted good) and did so without as much as an apology. They expected me to accept that they work on their own timings. When we started calling them, they wouldn;t answer our calls (when they were already late). As with many caterers, they counted the number of people at the party-- no problem at all -- assuming they do it accurately. I had fewer than the number expected and therefore, told them to leave the food behind - after all, I paid for all of it. They counted wrong (and trust me..i know how many people were there) and then refused to leave anything until i pushed them again.

By the way, they'll give you a better rate if you pay 100% in cash..hmm..and pay them everything up front.

To top things off, people have heard our story. When they're asked about it, they produce a contract (not the one that we signed) -- a contract that puts them in a good light.

If you want good food with a ton of hassle - go to them. If you want to be able to enjoy your function, they should not be your choice. If you really love their food, have them cook it, but pick it up yourself and don't count on them for any service or a thank you for your business.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Bad business ethic, change terms, late, unresponsive

I ate at this restaurant the other day and, while it's better than it was under the previous ownership, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The food seems like it would be good if it was fresh, but it definitely wasn't. No one really speaks to you and I had to wait quite awhile to get some fresh naan. There are better indian restaurants in the area that are worth the time.

King Kabob was an un inviting hole in the wall.
It did not survive.

Enter Olive Green.
A new restaurant has been opened by a family who actually knows how to cook.
The place has an improved menu, improved atmosphere, and improved service.

Best indian/Pakistani place in the tirangle.
