My family and friends have been going to this Fiesta Mexicana location for many years now. We have always been greeted by a warm welcoming staff and served a consistent quality rich meal.

From the beginning to end of service the staff is always eager to please with a smile ready.

If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant with an amazing value, look no further than Fiesta Mexicana.

P.S. I recently moved to Canada and the first place I visit in Wake Forest is this great establishment.

The food is typical but a tad above average. The staff is super friendly. Usually a lot of families with kids...somewhat noisy.

Fiesta Mexicana in the Wakefield Commons Plaza near New Falls of Neuse is our favorite Mexican Restaurant in the Raleigh/Durham area. We visit other restaurants with Mexican food but this one by far has the best service, friendliest employees and best tasting food. My husband always says that the chicken is tender everytime he orders a dish with chicken. We love the friendly atmosphere and feel as if we are being welcomed into the employees' homes and that they are so glad to see us. Speaking a little Spanish, the employees seem very appreciative that we try to speak Spanish unlike in some other Mexican restaurants that we have dined. Another fact that we appreciate is Fiesta Mexicana is open all day unlike many Mexican restaurants that are open for lunch, close at 2:30 PM and do not open again until 5:00 PM. Being open all day makes it easy to see an early movie at the Wakefield Cinema on a weekday and then grab an early dinner of great Mexican food. Or have a late lunch/early dinner at Fiesta Mexicana and then enjoy a movie.
Any of the other reviewers who have not visited this restaurant in a while should give it another try.

I love this restaurant. My husband doesn't usually care for Mexican food but has become a great fan of this one. The service is always great and the food is always fresh and delicious. We have been there at least 15 times and never had a bad experience. The specials are a great value and each dish provides great value for your money. I am not sure if we were looking at the same menu that the disatisfied reviewer were, but there were just as many choices as any other Mexican restaurant. Even if there wasn't, I would rather there be less choices if the it would keep the quality of the food as good as it is.

Okay so I tried this place on a couple of occasions and have had mixed reviews. On 1 of 3 occassions the service and food were excellent. Now on the other occasion, it was a 2 out of 10. Well they had there top shelf margarita, now i understand every place has there own recipe, but i asked and was told and given 2 different things. I sat at the bar and watched and heard as they, the employees, discussed just doing there regular margarita recipes and upcharging the customers. I ordered then a margarita with cuervo, and was given parton tequila. I was told, "we no have cuervo, patron buddy." They then tried to charge me for patron until i told the "manager" about the reason for them giving me parton and he backed off of charging me for patron. On my last occasion, there were out of food, meaning they were out of rice and beef. One is to wonder what one would say if mcdonalds were to run out of beef patties and frys? I understand a busy night, or new cooks or something, it was a thursday, I asked to speak to the manager, and he response was "I don't know man, sorry." Some manager to speak of, wearing khakis pants with holes in them.

This was a very unenjoyable dining experience. The food was mediocre at best and the menu didn't have nearly as many options as other Mexican restaurants in the area. But the worst part was the way we were treated. We were told there was a "special" but were not told that only very specific items qualified. We ordered what we thought was the special for dinner and the special on the margarita. We were very misled. Our bill should have been about $12 and ended up being over $30. When the manager was questioned, he was rude and patronizing - he laughed at me - and would not listen to what I had to say. I will never go back to any of their branches, and when I informed him of this, he sent a waitress to bring me a coupon. What good will those do? They probably wouldn't honor them anyway.

Pros: The waitstaff was friendly.

Cons: Everything else.

In a town where Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen, we are always looking for a standout. While the menu may look very similar to many other restaurants in town, the food is always excellently prepared and served quickly. What keeps us coming back is the friendly service we receive every time we arrive. Staff routinely address their patrons as "Amigos" and always seem to have a smile no matter how frantic the evening is. They are extremely accommodating to kids and babies. And don't be turned off by the crowd waiting outside on a Friday or Saturday night. Even on Cinco de Mayo, we waited no more than 10-15 minutes. If you are ever there for lunch, you must try the Taco Loco!

This is a great place to eat.

I am reviewing the one in North Raleigh on New Falls of Neuse.

The atmosphere is wonderful... The dim lighting & cozy booths are a great touch in this mexican restaurant. The food & service is exceptional! There is a margarita special each night of the week.. Although we did not make it over to the bar, it looked nice too.
