Never had color before in my life....ever!! But my sister was saying that I needed a change, so I went ahead and did it.

Merideth, she's super cool with her Pink and brown hair, did my color and it was amazing. She knew I was skeptical about color in the begining, so she coached me into getting a "7 foil" technique which only gave me top accented highlights, so that it would look like I had all over highlights...which was only $35 and then I had a trim. People still comment on my hair........So maybe next time instead of getting my feet wet with 7 foils, maybe I'll graduate to 10....hahaha. I have to take baby steps.

Pros: High fashion for reasonable prices.

Cons: I wish I had money to have her as my personal stylist

i went to regis salon recently even after reading some of these rediculious reviews. all the stylists were proffessional and friendly. also they seemed to be a great vibe between the girls. i was greeted promptly and did a consultation. by the end of my experience i had a beautiful color and the best cut ive ever had. i dont know who was there in the past but there are a great group of talented stylists there now.

but I have been at this salon numerous times to get my color service done, and I have never had a problem! They have been really professional, and I have never left out of their unsatisfied! And you all know how we as ladies are about our hair!

I am the adult child of two very excellent hairstylists, and as their longtime guinea-pig, i have had multiple good (and bad) hairstyles. I was new to the area, and had loved the last Regis salon i used in FLorida, so i gave this one a shot. I had naturally dirty blonde hair with lots of grown-out highlights, and i wanted to go dark. I plainly and confidently told my 22 year old stylist that i wanted "single process color, in a chocolate-cherry level 3 shade". It could not have been more basic. I also added that she may need to use a warm-toned filler first, as my hair was light and tended to turn ashy easily. I thought i was being the ideal client, as i was basically mapping out this appointment for her. She porceeds to breing out the book of color swatches, which should have been my cue to turn and run. I HATE seeing the swatch book...it says to me that the stylist is not confident in their ability to mix my color cased on sheer knolwedge and experience...they need the book to show them exactly what ratio of colors and activators to use. I pointed to a color called...no lie..."Chocolate Cherry". She trotted off to mix the color, and i sat in my chair chatting with the 4 other (not busy) stylists, also sitting around in their client chairs. The girl came back, slapped my color on, and ONE HOUR LATER...my hair was green-black. I will never know what happened in that color mixing room, but i do know that i spent the next two hours in that same chair, waiting for her to figure out what she did wrong. I am a very patient person, and i will usually give a good stylist quasi-free reign over my hair...but for the first time in my life, i felt like crying when i left this salon.

Pros: friendly staff

Cons: inexperienced staff, no offer to refund me

My appt. was scheduled for 4 pm. I showed up at 4 and it looked like my stylist had just begun cutting someone else's hair. She just said that she would be with me soon, no time was given. I sat there for 50 mintues before she was done with the other girl's hair. I would have appreciated her letting me know how long it was going to take. I would have either left or walked around the other shops. She didn't start putting color on my hair until 5:20ish b/c she wasn't prepared, even though I made the appointment and told them I wanted color and it took her 15 mintues to mix up the color solution. While I was sitting there she told me how they were short handed and she apologized for making me wait so long. Not that this is any of my problem. If they are short handed then maybe they should make less appointments and not waste other people's valuable time. Around 6:30..yes I was still there at 6:30 and she hadn't even cut my hair yet..a new hire came in. She had to take about 20 minutes of my time to get her set up. She talked on the phone while she cut my hair. I didn't even end up leaving until 7:45 and didn't see any color in my hair. Luckily she only charged me for the cut. Needless to say I did not leave a tip and will never be returning. The stylist's name is Carrie. I'm not sure if she's a manager or not but she acted like one. I would not recommend her or anyone else there at all!!!!
