I agree with the previous patient. We happen to go with Dr. Lim in the same urologists group. He treated me and my husband as two ignorant people or just animals that he could perform whatever surgery. He did not explain all the possible options that were available for my husband, and made us believe that there were ONLY ONE OPTION. He basically had made the decision for a one particular type of invasive sugery that he had chosen and performed it, as if my husband is just a rat or dog. He has no consideration for other emotional issues, or consequence.\r\n He gave us ONLY one option of an invasive surgery to solve my husband medical that resulated in a lot of unpleasant side effects, which could have been avoided by taking the treatment slowly on stages and with non invasive. In his practice he has no consideration for patients age, and treats patients as if they are all 80 years old. He does not see any difference between a man in his 50 or one in his 80. \r\nI am not sure even you can call him a doctor. He needs to work somehwhere else other than with human beings.\r\nI DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. LIM. STAY AWAY FROM HIM.\r\n\r\n

Do NOT go here. I have never met Dr. Leitner but Dr. Stamatakos practices here. I went to him three times and he stressed that I was ""looking to much into things"" and that I was ""100% back to normal "" and that it was ""in my head."" \r\n\r\nIt is now over a year since my last appointment with him and I still suffer from continuous pain. The entire last year has been one long nightmare for me. On my third visit to Dr. Stamatakos I had to plead with him to even examine me. He did not want to. He already had his money and he just wanted to shuffle me out of there. He felt I was wasting his time since I was obviously fine. \r\n\r\nThe examination was pitiful. It was clear he did not care. From looking at the notes he made, he listed my initial appointment as ""probable prostatis"" and the final appointment saying ""prostatis resolved"". The conditions I complained about were not symptoms of prostatis. This was confirmed by the following two urologists I went to. \r\n\r\nIn situations with symptoms of Peyronie's, quick treatment can make a world of difference. Dr. Stamatakos uncaring attitude and insistence that I was fine has damned me. It is clear that the treatment I needed was above his level of expertise but he was not man enough to swallow his pride and refer me to anyone who could have made a difference. I wasted an entire month driving back and forth from Charlotte to Monroe to see him. \r\n\r\nAs I scared 25 year old I put my trust in Dr. Stamatakos and he let me down. Do not make the same mistake. I can only hope that anyone else considering going to this practice sees this review first. \r\n\r\nUnfortunately, I know that others are under his care for similar symptoms and are being led on. The last time I was in this office, I overheard the receptionist speaking to a patient on the phone. The man on the phone was audibly upset. She was trying to calm him down and went to confer with Dr. Stamatakos. Upon coming back, she told him to continue taking the medication, and that it was making a difference. I continued to hear the upset voice on the other end and she then answered that ""The medication IS dissolving the plaque. Plaque is just the fatty part of the b l o o d"". \r\n\r\nThis is completely incorrect information. I would not wish my pain on anyone. It greatly upsets me when I know that other people may be receiving the same treatment I did from Dr. Stamatakos. It is quite remarkable how awful the treatment I received was. He refused to believe that I was actually in real pain. \r\n\r\nIf I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE. \r\n
