I do not recommend this place. I am hardly ever motivated to write a negative review of a place, even despite a negative experience, but this is ridiculous. They charge your insurance as an outpatient visit; therefore you receive two

Just read the other reviews and now I can relate. As I sit here waiting for my child to go back for an injection in her back.. A lady comes out in tears. She is complaining about dr Justin miller. She said he is not sympathetic at all to

If I could give negative stars I would. But I will just stick to the story.

I was in a nasty accident. Had multiple fractures, joint damage, 30% paralysis, nerve pain, one slip and another bulging disk. All in all I was in a constant

They wouldn't let me leave NO STARS!!! After time at Southeast receiving morphine for chronic pain, a routine drug screening supposedly came back indicating I had no morphine in my system. When I indicated that I had been taking my normal

I had taken the time to read reviews on SEPC online. Most of which were negative. I was worried being a young ( 28 yrs old ) woman that I would be classified as a drug seeker. But it was NOT the case. Everyone there was very thoughtful

I had a wonderful experience. The doctor spent a lot of time with me. I have had back pain for years and the doctor at Southeast was the first one to get an MRI of my back and show me what was wrong. I would highly recommend the practice if you are in pain!

These people were incredibly rude to me today. I was following up as instructed by a doctor and they would not help me. Not friendly and not helpful.

I would not suggest seeing this pain center. Their literature implies caring and listening to the individual seeking treatment. Also, I like how the pain center will ask you to rate their service on the first visit. That is how the pain center can have a higher rate on their service. If they were to rate an individual after being there a few months, the pain center reviews would fall below 60%. The pain center only takes patients that primary care doctors pawn off to them (DEA). Now, you will have to pay two bills every visit to the pain center. The doctor will get his/her cut, and the hospital will receive their cut. This leaves the sick patient dipping into his/her savings just to keep up with these very large bills. Second, if you are of a younger age, you are in for a very loving, caring experience. A picture is taken of you, and you are required to sign a narcotic contract agreement. This is where the criminal process begins. You will be selected to give a urine test day one. You are now branded like cattle. In other words, to the pain center, you are a dope head or dope seeker. However, if you have an issue where it is obvious that you are suffering, they will probly offer some type of help($2000.00 injections). Also, if you have a need to contact these individuals, be ready for a long wait for a response. Third, the pain center will push hard $2000.00 injections which offer very little help. I have had family, coworkers, and neighbors that have received these injections that did little or nothing for them. The shots have the same effect as pain medicine. I am sure that these injections have helped some individuals at some point or time; however, most patients gain nothing more that a collection agency harassing these individuals for the balance of their bill. You can compare the pain center to the oil companies. In all, if you look hard enough, you can find a primary care doctor that will help you. In addition, you will save thousands of dollars each year.

Pros: I found a caring physician elsewhere. (Gastonia)

Cons: (Treated like a criminal), pushed to have $2000.00 injections, and very expensive!
