Great Doctor! He's my favorite one there, I always ask to see him. He has also kept me from getting cancer (skin) for 7 years now! He does all of my surgeries for removing my moles. I couldn't ask for a better doctor! If you go there, you should definitely ask for him. The other doctors are good too, considering I have been going there for 13 years. Dr. Pleasants has also helped me b/c I didn't have insurance, so he worked out a way for me to make payments on my biopsies.

I took my second child to Dr. Pleasants for pediatric care when she was a newborn. We talked at length about how I wanted to do the vaccinations on a delayed schedule. He said that he was fine with this. The very next time we went for a well visit he tried to bully me into get the vaccines "scheduled" for that visit. I was firm in that I would be sticking to our previously-agreed upon delayed schedule. He did not like that I was not giving in and hurried through the rest of the visit. He barely interacted with my baby and when he did, it was as though she was a scientific specimen instead of a baby. At any visit, if I expressed any concerns he basically wrote me off as a "new mother" even though this was my second child. Overall, I found Dr. Pleasants to be very arrogant and did not have good rapport with me or my child. I do not recommend him as a doctor for infants or children.
