I would never recommend this company. The guy did our inspection, and went over every little tidbit of information, so we felt pretty comfortable with the results. After we moved in, we noticed that the baseboard was crumbling in our laundry room and in our bedroom. The guy had completely missed this, and it is possible insect damage. We may have to get the house treated for termites. We opted not to have a termite inspection prior to moving in because nothing in the standard inspection indicated the need for one. I will always get one from now on before I buy a home for this very reason.
So we called the guy and told him that he missed this. It takes him several weeks to come over and look at it. He does, and says he will contact us later that week. Several weeks go by, and we do not hear anything, so we try to call him. He never answers the phone. I leave him message after message, and he still never calls back. Weeks turn into months, and we've got our realtor on his case, too, because they recommended him to us. He tells them that he will be sending us something in the mail. We wait and wait and wait and still nothing in the mail.
Finally, THREE MONTHS after he came for the follow-up, we get a letter in the mail apologizing for missing this and claiming that it was because the prior resident had her furniture positioned in front of the wall and they are not allowed to move it during inspection.
While this may have been the case in the bedroom, it most certainly was NOT the case in the laundry room. When I pay somebody $300 to inspect my house, I expect them to look in these places where there is possible water damage that may attract pests. Had he done a thorough inspection, he would have noticed this huge red flag in the laundry room, and should have reported it to us. But instead, we get a BS apology letter that does us absolutely no good...THREE MONTHS AFTER OUR FOLLOW-UP!
And it makes me wonder why he could communicate with our realtor, but refused to have the courtesy of ever returning our calls. Incompetent and unethical, if you ask me. Take heed and run from this company!

This inspection company is the pits. He wouldn't even inspect my roof because he said it didn't need it and it had been raining and he didn't want to slip. Now I might have issues with my roof. Whatever you do, do not use this company. I tried to follow up with him, and he never called me back. Horrible service.

1. It took two days to get a call back from the secretary, was told he would call me later that day; the next day he calls.
2. I finally was able to talk with him and explain the problem. He was to call back with information about options, I never heard back. Luckily, there was no problem. If there had been a problem, I would have been out of luck. He is not responsible for anything, even if he gives bad information. Read the fine print in the paperwork you have to sign and return back before doing a survey.

I would never use this service, or refer to others. I had questions I needed answered. I calling multiple times during the day; always got the answering service. Spare yourself a problem when you are trying to get everything done for closing and do not use this service.
