We've been craving sushi for a while and thought we'd give Crazy Fire a try since it's conveniently nearby. What a mistake! The wait was very long and when the sushi finally arrived, it was a big disappointment. The sushi rice was dry and stale. The thin slice of fish you do get is not fresh. It's worse than the sushi you get at a grocery store, but at a higher price. Their Mongolian grill may be good, but we won't be going back for the sushi.

Pros: Good location, clean atmosphere

Cons: Terrible sushi

Crazy Fire is a great place for lunch. You can fill your bowl with whatever you want and they cook it for you. It is very clean and the service is excellent.

I love Crazy Fire! You get to pick what you want in your bowl and then they will put it on the fire for you. You can get it all you can eat and it's a great deal! Good for picky eaters!

When the kids were younger, the deal was happy meals for them and Mongolian take-out for me. Now we get two bowls for take out and share it among all three of us. Our lunch-time group makes the trip from Morris-ville. We take the time to eat-in because the one-bowl lunch is reasonable. At night, it all you can eat but that get expensive with the kids.

Food is great, service is good, restaurant is clean. Good place to go for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Lots of options for food. Prices are reasonable.

This is a fun place to try, especially if you aren't picky about your food. I am fairly picky and am vegetarian. If you tell the guy handling the cooking that you are vegetarian he is supposed to clean a separate grill area, keep other food away, and use separate "swords" to toss your food. Sometimes this happens- sometimes not and I end up picking pieces of meat out of my food. The quality of the food is poor, also- the vegetables are not crisp and the tofu water is usually cloudy.

I am seeing more and more of those type of places where you get to make your own lunch and my question is "what's the point?". I think that sooner or later people will realize that they are paying the same price for a dish that they have to make themselves and that can be fairly painful to eat if you don' t pay attention or simply don't know what you put in it.
"Sawasdee Thai" is so much more authentic and better tasting than anything you can make at Crazy Fire.

Make whatever you want & watch it being cooked. The atmosphere here is MUCH better than the one in Cary. I've only eaten at this location for lunch & it wasn't all you can eat...I would assume that it is for dinner (I hope so!).
