They built a pool and our house. To make a story short, there is a hole on the lining that they installed and they can't give us a date on when will be fixed. Bad communication (they never call us back and never updated us on what was going on during construction). They were very responsive before we sign the contract. After that was a nightmare...not was, had been a nightmare. Just God knows when they will fix our pool. Don't waste your time or money. Find another company to build your pool read less. TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT FOR THEIRS CUSTOMERS!!!!!

Dixon Pool & Spa is the BEST company I have ever dealt with!! Their service and professionalism is to the extreme. When they closed my pool, they not only cleaned it, and closed it as needed, but they blew the leaves off my deck as well! That was above and beyond what I ever expected!

During the season, I signed a service contract with them and was treated with the utmost kindness by all of their staff. My pool sparkled all summer and I never had to touch a thing! Their service contract was reasonably priced and explained thoroughly. I plan to sign on with them every year. It's just too easy!!

They are always happy and fun as soon as I walk into their store, and their service technicians are very knowledgeable and polite. Pat Dixon is very helpful and always truthful in what she has told us.

When we first came to Dixon Pool & Spa, we were expecting to have to replace our entire pump and filter system. After talking with Pat and discussing our problem, we found that wasn't the problem. Instead of just selling us a new pump and filter for $800, she fixed our problem for about $15!!!!! That sold us! We've been coming back ever since, and wouldn't go anywhere else!

We HIGHLY recommend Dixon Pool & Spa!

OMG! Where to start? Pat Dixon signed me up on a contract where they could service my pool all summer If I bought all chems from them. The contract quoted a monthly fee for this, she said she would call if any other charges were to be added. She never called, sent chems I did not need, as my lawn building was full, and my bill was always twice or three times the amount quoted in contract. I questioned each bill I got, she talked her way out of it. She is rude and not to be trusted. I felt dealing woman to woman, I would be safe. Hah! Her x employees told me she sells people chems they do not need all the time. I was so frustrated by end of contract, I actually cried myself to sleep a few nites. She promised me all I had to do is swim if I signed on with her, but I have never worried so much in my life! My husband hit the roof each time we got billed. Buy from her at your own risk! My blue pool liner actually turned white because of too many chemicals added by them. I had her husband come out and look at it. Pat told me it was due to the last pool people I used. But, the pool liner did not change color till Dixon started to clean pool! At time pool was to be closed,(I had specifically asked for Oct. 5th as closing date), she called me to find out date I wanted closed. I told her to read contract! She says I misunderstood. They had to clean it on 5th and close it the next week. Trying to squeeze another dollar out ot me. I let her have it. I just could not take it anymore. It got closed on 5th! Beware! Be very aware of her!

Dixon Pool and Spa installed 24 foot round pool which was purchased by me. When pool arrived the day of construction it was NOT the pool I purchased at the store.

During construction the skimmer basket was located 25 feet from the pump/filter which should be within 6 feet. Now I have 2 hoses running from the pump/filter to the skimmer/return that are 25 feet long.

The pool is not square. The water level on onside of the pool is 2 inches below the liner and directly opposite 2 inches above the liner. When I complained about it I was told they would correct it but I had to pump out the water from the pool which cost me $500 and spend another $500 to refill it. Why I would have to pay for their mistake is beyond me. I could not afford this after spending $6000 for the pool and construction/installation so I now have a pool not square.

I wanted to add this. My outside pool wall underneath the skimmer was leaking. I found cracks where Dixon Pool college kid summer help screwed in the front plate/gasket to the skimmer. When I took the skimmer off everyone of the 18 screw holder posts located on the skimmer bucket were broken/split. And the butterfly gasket, called that because the gasket opens up like a butterfly, which is supposed to be installed so one side of the gasket is on the outside of the pool wall and the other side of the gasket is located on the inside of the pool wall giving a solid seal was not installed this way. The entire butterfly gasket was located under the face plate allowing water to leak down both sides of the pool wall, inside and outside. Now I have a rusted pool wall and the holes in the pool wall where the skimmer screws attach to are also rusting out since the gasket was not correctly installed.

Also the many many wrinkles on the pool bottom. It was so bad that dirt would collect in these grooves/ wrinkles and you could not get it out. This was from day one. At night with the AquaLuminaire light on the bottom of the pool was unsightly. My guests noticed it right away and commented on it.

Buy a Taylor Test Kit and learn to do your own chemistries. Less expensive this way than buying chemicals from Dixon Pool twice weekly and never having that crystal clear water.

If I had to do it all over again and go with Dixon Pool?

A resounding NO NO NO.

If you decide to go with Dixon Pool and Spa then hire someone on your own that is knowledgeable on how a pool should be constructed and have that person monitor to ensure that the temporary help is correctly installing your valuable asset.

When Dixon Pool installed by new pool liner they seemed to do a good job, however I did not closely monitor enough and check behind. They dumped all refuse in my yard and organic garden (killed the garden - still not able to use until I dig out and put in raised garden). I also missed they did not install the "liner lock". Broke the pool light, but claimed it was the "electrical box" and I had to get electrian in to fix). It was the pool light. They left an absolute mess to clean up. They came back to open pool this Spring, they had canceled appt but then showed up by surprise two days later when i was not able to stay home. Billed me for cleaning pool for 1 1/2 hours with all sorts of work "done" including cleaning pool. Security camera saw them go through my sheds (although legally I have to say "allegedly"). Admittedly they told me when I got back... saying they were "looking for chemicals". No one gave them permisson and I already had the chemicals out as I was getting ready to address the pool when they unexpectedly showed up! Pool was left with NOT being brushed, vacumned and dirty - said they could not see to clean it (it was really green) , but I was later billed for these services. I had to clean the pool myself. Billed outrageously when they were only there 45 minutes putting in 2 eye sockets, 5 tabs of clorine and lifted "2 scoops worth" of leaves with a net. And, oh yes, looking through my sheds. If you are going to use them, stay there and monitor closely. Personally I cannot afford to do business with a company I have to turn around and finish what they are paid to do AND get another company in to fix what they broke. They also told me I would have to do a "major" (that means $$$) fix to correct wrinkles in my new liner. Got the wrinkles out using another pool company's simple common sense advice. Anyway, that's only my opinion for what it is worth. As I told them, never again! Personally I have moved to another, smaller company that understands money is tight and customer service is paramount in today's tough economy. They advised me to switch chemicals as I am a beginner and was struggling with managing the non-clorine chemicals Dixon wanted me to use... plus being so expensive!!! Now I can manage and know I have a support team I can trust behind me. Shop around before you decide who to do business with!!!

We had our pool put in by Dixon and have been using them for years for water testing and supplies and we couldn't be happier. They've met me after hours for a $5 replacement part and we've never had a challenge with our water testing or our pool, for that matter. I've always found them courteous and knowledgeable

Dixon pools had me spending lots of money on pool chemicals because, they informed me that I had a problem with my water. I took my water sample to another pool company who tested it and found out that I had an algae problem. Once I figured out what to do on my own the algae went away and, I didn't have a problem for the rest of the summer. Alot of Dixon's customers have left to go to other pool companies because, they feel they are getting the run around from them. Why would I want to continue going to a company that doesn't know what's wrong with my pool just to keep sending money, time and, not being able to swim in my pool. I recommend that you not go into that store unless you are wanting to waste your money and time.
