I was young when I had my first child and made the mistake of taking him here. It was a nightmare. We first started going there when the office first opened and it got worse by the month. It is extremely crowed. They over schedule every appointment. I've waited 2 hours to been seen. I was young and did not want to change doctors because my son had speech problems. He diagnosed my son wrong once and that was the end of it. Dr. Khalek loves to prescribe medication for anything and everything. Like my son being skinny so he prescribed him something to make him eat which I did not give to him. I've never seen a doctor who will give a young child so many medications. His bed side manner is HORRIBLE. He once told me my son was overly attached to me. He wasn't even 1 yet and was afraid of the doctor. He cried every time when we went there and wanted me to hold him, so I guess that made him overly attached to me. I changed doctors and found out you don't prescribe medication to a child who has a cold because there really isn't anything medicine can do for a cold and little ones don't need to be drugged up all the time. Keep looking there are better doctors.

We had a horrible experience here. Our son has autism and has a very difficult time with small, crowded rooms. When I called to make the appointment, I expressed this concern and asked to come in during the slowest time. They said they completely understood and scheduled us for the morning. When we got there it was empty, but after waiting 45 minutes, the small waiting room was packed. There were no seats left and many parents were sitting on the floor. My son started having a really hard time dealing with the noise, so I went to the receptionist and asked if there was a different waiting room or a quieter place that we could wait. She went to the back, came back, and said that there wasn't anything she could do. She suggested we could go wait in our car!! When I mentioned that we had expressed this concern when we made the appointment and were assured that it wouldn't be a problem, she said that we just had to wait our turn. I'm pretty sure this message was coming from the office manager and the receptionist was just the messenger. Regardless, we felt like our son wasn't going to get the care he needed there, so we left.

I've had friends say they adore the doctor here, but unfortunately, we never made it past the waiting room!

When I had my 2ND son , he did his circumcision. He did a great job on it. However, his bedside manner let alot to be desired. I would not see him on a regular basis.
