I love going to Waba for lunch. I go for the food, not the atmosphere. Korean food is usually pricey and hard to find in the Raleigh area, but Waba is so great for the two, possibly three most well known Korean dishes. Bulgogi, Bipimbap (I get the vegetable version), and Chap Chae. It's about $6/$7 dollars for a meal and miso soup and it's ready fairly quickly. I believe there is one family that owns and operates the store, and they are all nice. They don't suggestion sell if you would like extra sides such as kimchi or a drink, though I kind of wish they did since I usually forget to :) The food tastes great, the price is great, and I like seeing the same friendly faces.

Pros: Fast, Good Food, Friendly People

Cons: Parking on Hillsborough Street During the Day (bring quarters for the meters)
