Wonderful menu to choose from, I have yet to come across anything unsatisfactory! The chef willingly altered the dish for my husband's allergies. I found Grill 584 to be unique for this small town, but in a very appealing way!! The restaurants menu offers a great variety of items, ordering is always hard! The Chicken Oscar is one of my favorites. Grill 584 is not a cheap meal but it is not overpriced, certainly not for the quality, amount, and fulfillment of the dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to find a quality meal in the Burlington, NC area. Hands down the best dinner spot around here. And I must mention the bar section on behalf of my husband, there's live music I believe once a week? and the flat screens keep him from rushing home from dinner to check out the games scores.

Best restaurant in Burlington! The food is awesome and the chef always comes out to see if you like the food. Classy and quaint all at the same time. Also, the best prices in town for the food quality and portion sizes you get!

I ate lunch with some co workers here and it was a great experience. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and even with 20 people at our table, it came out very prompt and hot! The service was impeccable as well.

My husband and I went here last month, having heard rave reviews from friends and neighbors. I guess I expected something more upscale. People were dressed in jeans, and one family had three young children at the table with them for an 8pm dinner (the children behaved well, but I just find it rather uncouth to have children in an establishment where adults go to unwind and enjoy a quiet meal). In the smoking area, there was a group of young women with a baby in a highchair encouraging this baby to "raise the roof" and the servers found this strange practice appealing. I found the notion of a baby in a bar rather odd, even without the surrounding cloud of smoke. This sort of thing was not exactly fitting with the dimmed lighting and romantic ambiance.

The incorrect side item was brought with my meal, as was the incorrect salad for my husband. Our appetizer arrived only seconds before our meal. We had the "pleasure" of hearing the staff sing happy birthday to the party sitting next to us: something I'd expect at TGI Fridays, but not at a $30/meal steakhouse.

There was an extensive menu, the food was well presented and delicious, and the decor was well done. The house wine was pleasing. The servers were friendly, appropriately attired for a more upscale steakhouse, and gave you your privacy, but could have checked back more frequently for drink refills, etc. They have a coat check. Parking is ample, and the location is convenient. They had a nice dessert menu, but we did not partake.

If you simply want a steak in your jeans and flannel shirt with your toddler, but feel like spending $80, this is a great place to come banter with your buddies and have a decent meal. For a relaxing date, or for more professional couples, keep driving towards Ruth's Chris. It is worth the drive and the price tag to experience a real steak house.

Chophouse is a nice attempt, and on par with what you'd expect of Alamance County; It is simply not ready for the big leagues.
