I had a GREAT experience with Tyrolf. My car had a radiator problem and oil leak. Diagnosis was new radiator needed (knew that was coming- was leaking like a sieve) and new oil sending unit needed. Quote for oil sending unit well below what the dealer would have charged and quote for new radiator was half what I expected. No work is done here without a valid quote upfront and explicit permission from the customer. My actual bill ended up being less than the quote. Repair was performed quickly & efficiently. The Tyrolf's value the development of a trusting relationship with their customers and it shows. I asked them to check out a couple other things that might need attention but was told these things are normal wear on a car with 93k miles on it. They could fix it if I wanted, but since it was nothing that would compromise the safety or mechanical integrity of the vehicle there was no real need to do so. It is refreshing to deal with folks who will tell you it doesn't need fixed instead of trying to get extra work/money out of you! Mechanically challenged folks: take your car in, get it diagnosed and fixed with secure knowledge your car will be repaired right and you won't get taken. Weekend mechanics: take your car in and get it fixed for extremely reasonable rates and take the weekend to go fishing instead! Many thanks to Bobby & Sherri I appreciated all your help and feel much more secure about driving "Old Bessie" now!

Went to Tyrolf on the recommendation of a friend. The first time I went in with my Jeep and told them I knew the brakes were going and they checked said I needed new calipers, brakes, rotors... Okay- got them done. Next time I came in b/c the jeep wouldn't start. $875 later I had a new fuel pump and then one week later same problem- the guy says that its the switch on the automatic start. Same problem- why did I need a new fuel pump? Third and last I brought the mini van in for front brakes. They quoted me close to $900 for front and back (drum) brakes. Really? I took it for a second opinion and guess what- just front pads- $89.99. I'll never go back- I believe they are cheats.
