My husband and I met some friends here for dinner. It was fabulous. A large variety of food on the menu. The place was so clean and some of the quickest service i've seen in awhile. We will definitely be trying this place again!

Uncle Buck's menu is a winner with its variety and the food is excellent. I haven't had a bad meal yet and my family eats there 3-4 times a month.

We stopped in at Uncle Buck's on vacation--the crowd inside waiting and the good smell wafting from outside both lured us in and we were not disappointed. My husband got the ribs, which he said were excellent and I chose the southern fried chicken tenders which came with 'dirty' mashed potatoes, texas toast and grilled veggies (which I could have made a meal of alone they were so good!). My husband's dinner included baked potato, texas toast and the local 'red slaw', all in all, a LOT of food on both our plates. Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu, quick with drink refills and tourism advice. We also ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms which had a slightly spicy batter and came with a choice of several kinds of dipping sauce. They were good although not 'whole' mushrooms, chopped in bits and pieces. Altogether a great dinner though, blues music playing in background and casual atmosphere in the historic downtown area of Salisbury. Menu also offers quite a few choices of burgers and 'dawgs,' as well as steak and seafood choices--check out menu pics for prices and selection. We returned the next morning for breakfast expecting just as good an experience but this time were underwhelmed. I ordered an omelet and when I asked to substitute home fries (which came with other breakfast offerings) for grits or rice and beans, was told it was a charge of an additional side dish, no substitutions allowed. The server did not offer refills on our coffee (we had to ask) and the biscuits that were supposed to come with our breakfast had to be asked for also--she did not bring them either, and when she finally did, they were somewhat like what would come out of a Pillsbury can. No butter or jelly offered...omelet with cheese sprinkled on top, not in it....would definitely return for dinner but NOT for breakfast.

We are huge fans of this restaurant. Our family loves all of the choices on their menu and the staff are wonderful. Try the ranch wedges, the fried potatoe chips, the onion rings, you will not be dissappointed in any of their food I guarantee.
