My father bought a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited very recently, and we were overall very impressed with the experience. We haggled a lot and almost left a couple of times, but finally we were rewarded with an insanely low price! Our salesman was polite and not too pushy, and it was our fault that he had to cancel a date with his girlfriend! He remained polite, however, and we are still enjoying our purchase (only wishing we had gotten AWD instead of FWD).

As the two previous posters, I came in and knew the exact car I wanted. I told the salesman to show me where to sign because I wanted to buy that car right away. Two and a half hours later (of sitting by myself, mind you-- my salesman was no where to be found despite the fact that there was only ONE other customer in the entire building), I finally get to the finance department where the finance manager proceeds to try and convince me to finance through them, not my bank. Fine, this all I could deal with if my salesman wasn't practically half asleep and couldn't answer half my questions about the car. It was BRAND NEW, how do you not know anything about it? I would have even preferred one of those pesky wont-leave-you-alone salesmen to this entirely comatose idiot. Still bought the car though-- unfortunately there's not another dealership for hours-- and love it. I just hate the dealership.

Like the previous poster, I knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately unlike the previous poster, I didn't walk away when I heard "this is a rare find" and "OMG, this will sell fast."
I felt manipulated on the price, up-sales of useless add-ons, and the financing. Now that I have an issue with the vehicle, they aren't able to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion. Why should they? They already got my money. I have learned a hard and bitter lesson and won't return to this dealership again.
