Ferrari Lisa P Md - Durham Pediatrics

Dr. Ferrari was recommended by some members of a moms' group I joined when I moved to the area. We see her at the Duke St. location and have been very pleased. She's been patient and helpful, as have the other doctors we saw at sick visits. The hours of the practice are convenient and I've been pleased with the on call nurse line as well. One male front office worker is not the friendliest, but I would rave about anyone else I've had contact with.

Durham Peds came as a recommendation from a Pediatrician friend who happened to attend college with Dr. Ferrari. Dr. Ferrari was the first person to see our daughter the day after her adoption. She was VERY sensitive to the situation and asked all of the right questions. Since then, she has been the only person to see our daughter, except on the occasion where we visited the clinic during the sick child hours...what a GREAT options as well. If we adopt again, Dr. Ferrari will have another new patient!

We take both of our sons (ages 2 and 7 months) to see Dr. Ferrari with the Durham Pediatrics practice. From day one, we've been very happy with her. She is very thorough and even-keeled (good thing when it's shot time :). Unlike a lot of doctors, she does not make you feel rushed and will answer a million questions if you have them (which I feel I do sometimes :). In fact, before she goes into anything at all at check-ups, she asks "What questions or concerns do you have?" and that's what we focus on first. She is very patient-oriented. The office is very pleasant and Elise, the receptionist and Wanda, the nurse, are very sweet (at Highgate).
