Our starter and entrees were wonderful. The dessert was awful - took one bite and left it. The woman in red glasses refused to remove from bill when the server asked her (we saw this happen). Poor business practice and left a bad taste in our mouths. Literally and figuratively speaking

Can't say enough great things about this place. The food is delicious and prices are very fair. The service has never let me down, even on the busiest nights!

What a wonderful treat. Our office had our Christmas Lunch at Nona Mias just yesterday. How wonderful it was!! I ate off the Special menu...MBLT..like no other BLT I have ever had it. It was fantastic and the portion was perfect. My Boss and another had the Romano Crusted Chicken Salad and were very delighted. A pepperoni and cheese pizza topped off order and it was above and beyond expectations! This pizza can feed 3 or 4 for lunch with a lovely salad. We traditionally go out to eat for birthdays and holidays and now Nona Mias is sure to top our list. I plan to return for a gift certificate for a friend for Christmas.

Not only is the food amazing and soul satsifying, but our Friends at Nona Mia are also a tremendous asset to the community. By supporting the Asheville City Schools Foundation, they are ensuring that every child can access quality education. Our thanks to them!!

Nona Mia's is quickly becoming one of our favorite hangouts. We love the atmosphere of this cozy Italian cafe, and the wine list is nice too. The chicken piccata, lasagna and sandwiches have all been delicious. I had the filet mignon as a special dish and it was presented beautifully. The portions are not too large...but not skimpy either. I believe that their Farmhouse Pizza is the best in town. Goat cheese, spinach and tomatoes combine for a taste sensation! This is one local spot you have to visit before 6 pm if you want to be seated within a reasonable amount of time. Even still, it's always worth the wait.

Authenticity is the best descriptive word for Nona Mia. It not only has a fabulous menu of tasty pies and pastas with great sauce (isn't it always the sauce that matters), it is sensitive to its employees who get the weekends off! Yep, this tiny restaurant in West Asheville is closed on the weekends. So plan an outing M-F for great Farmhouse pie or a dish of meatballs. Wine and beer are available. You may have to wait because its a very popular hangout, and parking can be tricky. It's worth it, though.
