First Carolina D J's

A rating of an FFF doesn't even begin to explain it. We met with Kyle Sandler as well and paid a deposit for our wedding almost a full year before the ceremony. Three weeks before our wedding and Kyle dropped off the face of the Earth! His phone numbers are bogus as well as the addresses he provides. He is a FRAUD the whole way around....so if you don't mind flushing your hard earned money down the toilet and having a ONCE IN LIFETIME EVENT RUINED....STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!! As soon as possible we are taking this guy and his supposed business to COURT and reporting him to Better Business Bureau....we're not dropping this...this guy needs to be put out of business. I have no problems with anyone contacting me...I'll be happy to show proof and documentation about his FRAUD. Critterlaw1@aol.com

We paid First Carolina DJs LLC full price, up front, in anticipation of their promised perfect service of the wedding reception. What we got was a reception without music while our guests were eating. Further, the guests had to watch the crew set up as if we were not prepared for their arrival on this special day. Yet, First Carolina DJs LLC believes they are entitled to full payment because they say being late was beyond their control due to a car accident on the highway enroute to the reception.

The promise was the actual delivery of services as contractedand anything less is unacceptable for the agreed upon price. First Carolina DJs LLC should compensate us accordingly.

According to the Better Business Bureau in Greensboro, NC where this company is located, they have an unsatisfactory record resolving complaints. I can see why after they ruined what should have been our one perfect day.

I don't think you could find a worse DJ if you tried. This DJ has AN "F" rating with the BBB. I could write a lengthy post about why to avoid this DJ but I will try to keep it as short as possible:

We booked this DJ, Kyle Sandler, for a wedding almost a year in advance and paid him the deposit plus extra money - $450 in total. A couple of months before the wedding, Kyle emailed to say he was no longer interested in doing the event and that we should find another DJ. He promised to refund all of our money for breaking the contract. We were annoyed that he wanted to cancel (the reason boiled down to he didn't like a guest invited to the wedding because she had given him a negative review in the past) but we figured it's was better to find someone else more reliable in any case.

Well, we found another DJ but never heard from Kyle again - he never returned one cent of our money - even though he was the one who had broken the contract! We had to file a civil suit against him to try to recoup the money - can you imagine!? Hiring a DJ for your wedding and having it come to this?! Kyle never even showed up to court.

Do your research: In addition to the "F" BBB rating, I found out from the courts in Greensboro that several other people have sued him. I also found out from other Greensboro DJs that they won't subcontract for Kyle anymore (he is on his own) because of poor business practices. I also have read some reviews on other sites that he showed up late to weddings without apology or any refund.

Unfortunately Kyle has disputed and succeeded in erasing most of the numerous negative reviews that appeared on wedding wire because the reviewers didn't respond when weddingwire asked them to verify themselves - it's too bad WW allows this to happen! It's a public disservice.

One word: BEWARE!!
