Dr. Clark Hammock

Heather is certainly friendly enough, but I could do with not having to see so much of her breasts. I've been there probably four or five times. A couple of times it's been okay, but boy on the other days--glad my son wasn't seeing Dr. Hammock then!!

It's hard finding a good dentist. I've had quite a bit of dental work over the past few years via various dentists in Charlotte, and I've finally found one I'm comfortable with courtesy of Dr. Hammock and his great staff.

Previously, I've felt that dentists have either done inadequate jobs, and/or provided me with information that I wasn't sure I could trust in order for them to make a dollar. My last dentist's office had a rather rude front desk staff with whom I didn't feel like communicating on a regular basis.

Dr. Hammock's office is small, which I enjoy, and the staff is tremendous. Heather, the front desk attendant, is very warm, friendly, and makes you feel welcome. My hygenist Samantha is great to talk to and is very down to earth and kind. Dr. Hammock himself takes his time to do the job correctly, and awesome I may add. I've recently had two crowns done, and I'm very happy with the results. I haven't had any problems post delivery. A dentist trip isn't always fun yet I never dread it anymore because I'm made to feel welcome. The office is also really very good at working you in on short notice. I feel as if Hammock genuinely cares about his patients and doing a good job instead of treating his patients like another paycheck in waiting.

I also like that the office isn't decked out with fancy electronics and posh decorations--you can get solid, quality and professional dental work that looks great without a high percentage of your money going towards expensive televisions and fancy chairs. I'd reccommend Dr. Hammock and his staff to anyone. I'm hoping the entire staff stays in Charlotte for quite a while as I'd hate to do anymore dentist shopping in the near future!

This is Dr. Hammock. I didn't realize the feedback I receive online until a patient called my attention to it. I certainly appreciate any feedback I can gather about my office or myself. Thank you to all who have submitted. The pro's are flattering and the con's help me realize areas where I can improve my professional manner. If you are an existing patient, thank you. If you are a prospective patient, I hope to meet soon. Thank you again for this great resource of information.

This office puts too much emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. I do not like to go to the dentist and it has been too long since my last appointment. I am in need of fillings, etc. but was made to feel as if I should be ashamed and more emphasis was placed on my supposed cosmetic needs.

I would also be weary of all of the positive reviews on this board because this office likes to stress the postive reviews.

I was a little apprehensive trying to find a new dentist, but this office seems to be the right fit.The staff was very warm and Dr. Hammock was very professional. He made both my daughter and son feel very comfortable during their appointments. Now I'm coming for my checkup.

The office staff and dental assistant/hygienist are very friendly and helpful. However, Dr. Hammock has very little personality. Because of the way the exam rooms are arranged, he speaks to you and examines you from behind the chair and you feel as though you are talking to a wall because he doesn't directly face the patient. The medical skills seem adequate - nothing more.

What a great bunch of people! I actually made a cleaning appt the day after my birthday and although that normally would not be fun, this place is great. They make you feel right at home, are very helpful with everything and overrall make it a pleasureable experience. Having all of the most current technology, each patient is given a comprehensive review and made aware of all the newest benefits/procedures available.

Dr. Hammock and his staff made my teeth feel superb. I felt healthier, brighter, whiter, tighter, slighter and mightier after leaving his office! Recommend to everyone!

Pros: Ample parking, great service, nice staff and great dentist

Cons: busy - but who said that was a bad thing?

This office was straight forward. They accept my dental insurance and worked it all out for me. Very nice front office staff and felt comfortable in the dental chair. Pleased with my visit.

I had a smile makover with Dr. Hammock. I am so pleased. I can finally smile again. I never thought I would see my teeth like this again. My husband said he is going to get his done next.

I found this office on the internet through my insurance provider. When I left the office, I felt like I had known the staff forever. Dr. Hammock was thorough and I felt very comfortable with him. As far as dental visit's go, this one was better than expected. Now, I'm bringing my family.

This office was just what I was looking for. It's a new office to Charlotte with a small staff and they made my dental visit easy. I also like that they offer everything at that one office. I got in, had done what I needed, and got out. It was straightforward. And no cavities! haha. But I think I'm going to get the Invisalign invisible braces done there to fix some of my lower teeth that are crowding. If you are shopping around, I would recommend this office hand's down.

Having recently had to change dentists b/c my previous provider retired; I was skeptical of a new office & dentist. I initially heard of Dr. Hammock via his billboard advertisement on South Blvd. & thought this was the 1st I've seen of a dentist & was impressed w/ that.
From the 1st contact to establish the appointment I felt comfortable. His office is in a great location, convenient for me, near work & home on Woodlawn Road.
I was most impressed with the one-on-one with the dentist. Dr. Hammock did not go from room to room, as even my previous dentist had; his focus was on me. I had, what I believe, to be the most comprehensive evaluation at my initial appointment & was impressed with their digital x-ray system as well.
Dr. Hammock recommended a small filling I needed to have done & suggested we use the new "laser" technology. It was so simple, no needles, no numb feeling throughout the day, I was surprised when the procedure was over . It was non-evasive & no needles!!
I would recommend Dr. Hammock to my friends, family & co-workers. I had a wonderful overall experience & am so pleased to have found a new family dentist.

I am new to Charlotte and I found Dr. Hammock in "Creative Loafing" so I decided to go in for my dental exam. Not only was I welcomed with a warm phone conversation w/ the staff, but it was just as friendly when I showed up for my appointment. Dr. Hammock was very informative to me about my dental needs and he took as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me anything, which I appreciated. He was just a nice, honest guy w/ a GREAT office staff! I would recommend Dr. Hammock to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

I've had several fillings done at this office and I can't complain at all. Dr. Clark Hammock is gentle with the needle. I actually didn't even know he had given me a shot and it was halfway over. He's got great bedside manner and an overall nice person. I would refer anyone here.

Pros: Gentle, No waiting, NO PAIN
