They have a great meat section. I am really a meat lover that is why this place having a great meat section is such a nice plus for me. I can have steak every time.

I can never say a bad thing about this place, because this place is filled with honest trustworthy employees. I lost my wallet here once and one of the employees returned it to me.

We have had it with Watts Grocery. The food is good but they treat customers poorly. We were frequent brunchers there. They do not open untill 11 and if you are at the end of a long line, they may not seat you at an available table until

Apparently, there is a lot of customer goodwill about this place and it is very attractive. A few quibbles, though: service recently (Father's Day dinner at 6 p.m. with relatively few tables occupied) was distracted and disorganized. Wine prices are way out of line for this casual place -- how about some offerings under $30?
Food -- ok, above average, and fairly priced.

Watts is great. Really affordable but high quality food. I love the wine list too. There are lots of great options for good prices. I go pretty regularly and love the waitstaff. This is one of the few places i keep returning to. Great for lunch, brunch and dinner.

We went there for a workplace christmas party and if it wasn't so small, I think I would have had a better time. The place was packed and you couldn't really move around. They made some great drinks though!

I've eaten at Watt's twice now for brunch, and I've been impressed both times. Despite the fact that Sundays are very busy, the waitstaff is polite and service is fairly speedy.

The grits bowl is my favorite item on the brunch menu, but the omelet is very good as well. I appreciate that the sources for all the local ingredients are printed right on the menu - the dedication to supporting local farmers is extremely important to me.

Great sunday brunch venue with a large selection though I usually go with the Watts breakfast. They have homemade sausage and always cook my eggs overeasy perfect. I have been for dinner before as well and had a great time.

Although dishes on Watts Grocery's menu tend to sound better than they taste when they arrive on your plate, this new entry into the Durham dining scene gets points for its inventive cuisine. Taking Southern staples and adding a unique twist to it--think Frog legs and waffles, for example--the restaurant tries to break new ground. Make sure to come in late on Thursdays for the perfect sliders.

The food is Southern, made with the freshest ingredients from local vendors. Dishes are very creative, and a fantastic value for a gourmet restaurant this wonderful. It's fantastic food, but not too stuffy; the atmosphere is casual, and it blends in with the neighborhood. We've had both dinners and brunch here and been impressed every time.
