Bella Lago Salon & Spa

I have the lamest, thinnest hair possible, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at Bella Lago.

My stylist was Denise Allen, and she listened carefully to my lifestyle issues (ie. busy mom, no time to style hair in the morning), then approached my haircut accordingly. Even when I asked for something new, she was honest and said that she could do almost anything, but if I was unable to style it to do justice to the style, then she would advise against it. She is also my colorist, and although sometimes she would suggest a product or process that was new, if I explained that I was not up for it (too afraid of something bold, could not afford the expense), she was fine with that too.

The entire experience of getting my hair done at Bella Lago (not just my experience with Denise) has been a fun escape from real life... i.e. the greeting, the coffee, the hair shampoo, the hand massage (go Kary), etc.... I recommend Bella Lago wholeheartedly.

The elegance of Bella Lago is a nice treat. I would expect extremely high rates based on the services, cleanliness and customer service provided but find them reasonable even in the face of the present economy.

I'm a naturally curly girl and have had HORRIBLE experiences with 'stylists' who claim to know how to cut curly hair yet do NOT have a clue. Denise Allen is the third stylist I've seen in the two years that I've lived in NC. She totally get's my curls and makes every effort to ensure that my curls look great.

Please, please, if you're a curly girl, do yourself the biggest favor ever and go see Denise. She will help correct any damage from previous stylists and get you on the road to loving your curls without charging you astronomical rates for seeing the 'curl professional!'

Love this Spa! From the moment I walk in I start to relax. Everything is Aveda products so everything smells wonderful, the lighting is dialed soft and the music/wave machine makes me dream that I am somewhere far away - they do things just right. Also, they do the BEST eyelash extensions in the area. Mine have stayed on for over 3 weeks now.

I love Bella Lago Salon & Spa. I have my hair cut and colored by Heather Sharpe who I highly recommend and does a wonderful job. The staff at Bella Lago is very friendly and courteous. I love that they also have spa services so that I can combine my hair appoint with waxing, nail services etc. They also offer membership programs which allow you to receive a discount on some of your services that you repeat monthly such as brow waxing, manicures and pedicures which helps to lower the cost per visit. This certainly helps during this tough economy, what a great idea!

Bella Lago is truly an exceptional salon and spa! Client's needs are their highest priority and it is a wonderful place to pamper yourself! I've found it to be a wonderful relaxation destination. They have excellent service and a friendly and knowledgeable staff! I highly recommend Bella Lago!

Bella Lago was GREAT, services were great atmoshere was great, everything was great. I don't know what that last review was talking about, I thought everyone looked great, TRENDY just what your salon should be, she must perfer the GRANDMAW type salon????

The owner, Merissa, is AWFUL and totally unprofessional!!! She hasn't a clue about customer service. My service was done incorrectly. So I called and was directed to speak with her. She said she needed me to send her pictures??? She never responded to the email, my messages or phonecalls. Absolutely unacceptable in my book.

This salon is already hurting for business and her lack of customer service will drive it into the groud quickly!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT BELLA LAGO!!!

I had a "spa day" at Bella Lago with a friend a few months ago and I was very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I had a facial, massage, mani/pedi, and wash and style. It was lovely! Hands down, the best facial I have ever had! I even got my husband a gift card for a massage while I was there.

I've received services at Bella Lago several times now and have never been disappointed. Facials, manicures, pedicures, massages, hair, waxing...all wonderful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a place to try before driving all of the way into Charlotte for a spa.

As soon as you step in, you feel special! I got my hair cut there and it was amazing and DEFINITLY let them shampoo it! AHHH!!! Ask for Lisa, she is the best!

They gave me exactly what I wanted in a haircut. It was a great experience and I would absolutely go back. The stylist was knowledgeable and they were prompt with my appointment time.
