Service Dept

by Saroeun

The service waiting room is large but it was dirty. The floor wasn't swept, end table was a mess.

The advisor was pleasent, but average. Didn't feel welcome, I kind of felt I was at an independent shop.

I ask for a wash but they do not offer it. I was a new customer and they did not take my address. Only city and state. So how will they send me the survey that they said I might be getting? Price is slightly on the high side. Overall isn't bad but I had better at other dealership. I will not return

Pros: Large facility, cushion chairs

Cons: Dirty, average service

Watch Out For The $589.50 "Doc" Fee OUCH!!!

by 2474

The $589.50 "Doc Fee" is the highest that I have EVER seen. Consumer Reports says to question anything over $100, so I don't know what they are thinking charging this amount. Had several questions regarding the transaction and the salesperson NEVER responded either by phone or email. Poor customer service!

Cons: No resonse to many communications!

Worst service in history.

by JTWood

Terrible service. Don't waste your time or money.
Poor service and lies. Make sure if there is a warranty transfer that you take care of it because they won't.

Great sales people, great service department

by bdou

I have bought two cars from Town and Country Toyota and there is not a better place to do business. I was treated with immense respect and patience. The service department is top of the line having treated me like a King when service was due. Marshall Moore in the service department is a true gem of a person. I felt like he truly cared about me and wanted my business for life. Town and Country does not load up their sticker prices with addendum stickers that charge $1000 for a pinstripe and a hand wax job like Scott Clark's. They deal in a straighforward manner with no addendums that try to hide things from the buyer.

Pros: Professional staff

Cons: None seen

Buyer Beware

by wiperman

I have had good service in the past. But all they really did was change the oil.
The last repair I was the second in line, had an appointment and waited over a half hour before being waited on.
After the repair I found broken parts and scratches on the car, which I have waited to be fixed over a month.
The car is still torn up and all I get is the run around.
This is the last Toyota I will buy, because there is no close service.
This service department is poor.

Avoid this dealership I would not recommend them to anyone, especially a woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by wiggra1221

Recently, I had a very bad experience at this dealership. I went in on a Saturday, March 17, 2006, to purchase a car. The payments were too high on the car I wanted originally, so the salesman showed me a car that would stay within my budget. I fell in love with it. I went back tuesday to put the down payment down on it and they were trying to sale the car I was intersted in, but I thought I had it. I got the car after arguing that I already had an approved application on it. I bought it back on Wednesday to have it inspected (for an inspection sticker). After sitting there for 3 hours waiting on an inspection sticker I tried to find out what was going on. They would not tell me nor did I ever see that car again. They claimed something was wrong with it and gave me a loaner to drive. For a week I was back and forth about this car. Now, this is the kicker on Tuesday they had me to sign loan papers on the car like I was purchasing it and take out car insurance on this same car. My papers they gave me a copy of offered me a loan with 1000 down payment and monthly payments of 388.76 per month with gap insurance. When I go back in there to finalize everything they show me a different car and told me I cannot have the same car back. This other car although it is the same color had more miles on it and less features.
This other car they now wanted 1,500 down payment and the payments are now 425 per month without gap insurance. So watch out single woman this dealership will rip you off and try to give you anything. When I turned that loan down because it did not matched the paperwork I had and they really expected me to come up with 500 more dollars down. I was wondering whom they thought they were messing with and whom was crazy me or them. Moral of this story is READ before you sign. This dealership will get you. I would not recommend this dealership to NO ONE! They are very dishonest and unfair. I give them a rating of "ZERO".

Pros: Ambience Thumbs up

Cons: Service Thumbs down
