This is my first pregnancy, and I went to this office from the referral of my primary care physician. I wish I would have gone somewhere else.
This office has three midwives, and we were told on our first visit that we would see midwives for the first few appointments and then see doctors. I am now 24 weeks pregnant and have NEVER seen a doctor. My blood work has been misplaced, and an order was lost, so I have had to redo my blood work. I was told that there were abnormalities with my test results, and then told that they confused my chart with someone else! One nurse would tell me one thing, and another would contradict her. It was a complete nightmare.
No one seems to talk to one another, so when I would call to make an appointment, I would have to explain what the appointment was for, since my chart was incomplete, and the staff was beyond rude.
I wanted to see a doctor, and received hesitance from the office staff at this request. The last straw was discovering that unless I had a high risk pregnancy, a midwife would deliver my baby. No one told us this at all the entire way through our four months with this office. I am seeing a new doctor tomorrow and I feel so happy to be free of this office. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and go somewhere else! The only reason I gave this office one star is because I had no choice, this place is just terrible!

i first went there in 2005 with my son and was considered high risk. i had excellent care and had a healthy baby. i decided to come back in 2009 with our 3rd baby and was considered high risk. i had regular checkups as if i was normal pregnancy. they wouldnt see me when i had a problem. i had to go to the emergency room everytime. i told them that i stopped feeling the baby move and they said that was normal and okay since they could hear the heartbeat. this went on for 7 weeks until i was 32 weeks and went for a growth scan at duke perinatal and the baby had stopped growing at 25 weeks and there was no fluid. thats why i couldnt feel her move anymore. these people were so concerned that medicaid wouldnt pay for the utlrasound if it turned out nothing was wrong that my baby had to die. when i asked them to explain theirselves they turned on me and said it was my fault. i had a c-section and after my staple removal dr. v told me i did not need a 6 week checkup and he would see me in the spring. i left and made an appointment with another gyn to get my checkup and had to have medical records sent over. a week later these guys had the nerve to bill me 35.00 for sending records for an appointment they should have but did not provide. i will never return to this place and feel guilty to all the women i have referred there. i hope none of them suffered because of it.

I am giving one start since I have to give atleast one start to publish this review
when we made an appointment with them they said they would see my wife only during 12th week of pregnancy and not before. We went ahead and took the appointment anyway and forgot the date of the appointment as it was 3 months from the date we took it. They did not send us any policies or forms to fill and the appointment date came and gone and they sent a bill for missing appointment. How in the world we would know there would be a charge? Also, we were expecting there would be a courtesy call before the appointment since it was made so earlier. They left a message threatening us to send it to collection for $25 if we do not make the payment.
They are rude, impolite and lack mannerisms. My friends told me after our experience that they also had issues with them such as not responding to the calls if they call the nurses for any assistance, difficult to get appointments (ususally they would take couple of months to get an appointment) and do not give or tell you the results of tests done there.
I will not recommend anyone there since there are better alternatives in the town for maternity and gyn care
Hope this would help someone
