Previous reviews are on the money when it comes to Kimbrell's in Garner. Went in to purchase a bedroom suite with the set price (no financing etc) $1700.00 (not cheap). Sat down to do the financing aspect and gave ID (driver's license, bank info, car registration) ALL with home address on it but rep insisted on proof that is where we lived. She said that was "company policy when issuing credit". I told her the documents I was providing were sufficient and she would not budge - my family and I left and went to Rooms Unlimited on New Bern and got the SAME set (minus the chest of drawers we had requested not to include) AND a better mattress/foundation AND a better/longer warranty for LESS MONEY. I am serious, it was the same set, same brand for less money. Staff at Rooms Unlimited was very professional, financing went off without a hitch and my daughter is happy she has her new bed. Thank you Rooms Unlimited (Drew) for making my furniture shopping experience a pleasant one. You have a customer for life - as for Kimbrell's, if enough customers keep walking out because of your "policy" how much longer do you plan on being in business??????

kimbrell's has a tell the customer what they want to here policy, if it's the truth or not they don't care.My wife and I purchased a living room suite from them and didn't have a problem with it.When we only had a couple payments left they sent us a letter saying we could could puchase up to 1000.00 no money down. My wife and I selected a new mattress and foundation along with head and footboard, this is when thier true nature came out. On the day of delivery we waited and waited and called several times ,no one in the office could give any time frame they seemed to have no contact with thier delivery people. At 9 pm that night they delivered our mattress set along with a defected head and foot board. We called kimbrell's and after they played let's pass the buck pointing fingers of blame at each other the manager ordered a new foot board.A week later they came out about 6:30 with the wrong foot board,again after a game of pass the blame they bought a foot board new in the box that was horrible.the craftsmanship was not like the quality of the showroom model. My wife and I decided that if we couldn't get what we ordered then we would return everything.Luther our sales person told us that since the mattress was used we could not return it.I feel this is a long way from being resolved.They are unwilling to negotiate on price for a damaged product, we will accept no less than what we paid for.Bottom line shopping with kimbrell's has become a nightmare.
