Spoke with Cindy in person. She quoted us $6,300 for a leather sofa and a loveseat in our selected leather. We were ready to buy but suspicious about their pricing. So, we went to two (2) other authorized dealers of the furniture we wanted to buy and priced it exactly as we did at RIDER. Same units, same leather covering, identical sofa and loveseat. Both priced it for us at $1,300 less and that includes delivery, setup, and removal of our old units. We gave RIDER a second chance since they were a local business and we wanted to support our local businesses. We never offered to reveal names of the other two (2) furniture srores we went to, or of RIDER, because that would be unethical. In my view, RIDER would rather sell for a higher price and get fewer sales. We bought sofa and loveseat elsewhere because of RIDER'S unwillingness to discuss pricing. BEWARE OF THIS STORE AND MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FULL SPECS OF WHAT THEY ARE QUOTING YOU and price at 2 more stores. In our sole opinion, they like uninformed customers.

Beatiful Store, I purchased my family room furniture from them and had a wonderful expierence. The sales staff is very helpful and there is no pressure from them to buy. The delivery men were also very polite and helpful and work strickly for rider furniture. Good prices, friendly people, overall great expierence!

I bought all of my living furniture from Rider. They were very helpful during the purchase process. The quality is not very good for the price and my couch and chair did not wear well. The owner/manager told me my solution is to have the couch resewn, the cushions restuffed and have the chair reupholstered. He made it clear this was not his problem. I am so disappointed in the lack of service and will not be buying anything else from Rider. I do not recommend Rider as they do not stand behind what they sell.

During the 4th of July weekend I purchased a Brown Street bed and two nightstands. I was told the furniture may take up to 10 weeks to arrive. After 4 months of waiting and no calls explaining the status of the order, I started calling Rider Furniture every week. Each time I called I was told the furniture should be coming next week, as the truck had already left the manufacturing facilities. In the end, it took over 5 months to actually receive the furniture!

When we went to pick up the furniture at the warehouse, one of the nightstands had a big scratch in the front face. I complained to Rider and was told I could bring the nightstand to the store so they could touch it up for me. When one buys new furniture, you expect it not to have scratches.

Finally, after getting the furniture home, we realized there was a part missing from the bed. Normally this would not be a big deal, but after everything we went through it would have been nice if someone had checked the order to make sure we had all the parts when we picked it up.

When I asked Rider Furniture for a discount, I was denied since I had bought the furniture during the 4th of July weekend when the store was having a 5% off sale. I am unsure how the two are related, but I presume had we paid more initially then we would have been given a discount for the inconvenience. I would have rather been politely told no, with no explanation.

This is one of the worst purchasing experiences I have ever had. I understand that the manufacturing of the furniture is out of their control; however, communicating the status of the order and following up with customers is within their control.

When I lived in the area, we would go here all the time to check out the new stuff they had. When I got married and bought my first house, we went there to buy our furniture. They have a nice selection of stuff and the prices are affordable too.

Rider Furniture has wonderful pieces. The store is set up as if it were a home and the salespeople give your your space and time. Although the furniture is expensive, very piece is quality.

Absolutely beautiful store, the first furniture store I have been in where you are free to walk around and look at items without being followed and harrased by a saleman. The sales stafff is very helpful, not pushy at all, and the prices are exceptional. Delivery charge is extremely low.
