Fantastic fresh food that tastes amazing. Great selection of cheeses. Never tried a main course though,so cannot comment on those.
No liquor license ,so bring your own wine. No corking fee, which is a huge plus. Emergency liquor store is right around the corner and has very decent selection of wines, but not the champagnes.
Visa ,MC accepted.
I was absolutely blown away by quality of the food. I'd be pleasantly surprised by the food if the place was in NYC ,but to have such a gem in Hoboken is just simply unbelievable.

Pros: Slads, cheese plates, deserts.

Cons: Expensive main courses

I don't know what Kellysan24 is talking about. This is clearly the best place in Hoboken, if you're talking about FOOD. Chef Anthony Pino just seems to "get it," when creating dishes for regular people. This isn't art-food, it's real food that makes sense and makes me feel good. This is a restaurant that could easily thrive in the West Village or Soho, alongside some of NY's venerable small destinations.

I've been coming here since it opened, and it's always consistent: the food (including some staples that haven't changed and some great new tasting menus,) the service and the atmosphere are all just perfect. Better than Amanda's or Lua (which are overdone,) and better than anything the amateurs at Madison or City Bistro could offer. If you REALLY want a taste of Hoboken, check out Anthony David's.

Pros: Quality of food, service, price

Cons: BYO

The quality of this food is 5 star. Anthony uses fresh
ingredients and prepares it just right. Use to have a lot of breakfast meetings there and the omelets, coffee and bread were always tasty.

We've been going to Anthony David's for the last 5+years. Up until now it had a been a pleasurable dining experience. Last Friday, we had dinner at Anthony David's. We ordered the cheeseplate, caesar salad, crispy duck with polenta and the pumpkin tagliatalle. We also brought along our own wine. The cheeseplate and caesar salad were okay, nothing to write home about. Then it took 45 minutes for our dinner entree's to arrive after we finished the salad course. By that time, we had finished the wine. My boyfriend's pumpkin polenta was over-salted and we sent the dish back. He didn't feel like waiting another 45 minutes for another dinner, so he went home a little hungry that night. My dish (pumpkin tagliatalle) was too sweet and I would never order it again. I guess we should have stucked with the steak. We spoke to the manager who was apologetic and informed us they had a big party which is why the food took so long to come out. However, that didn't really excuse the quality of the food. There are plenty of other places to eat in Hoboken and NYC. Anthony David's is just not as good as it used to be.... :(

Pros: Outdoor dining in the summer and BYOB

Cons: Quality of food has gone down the tubes and service is slow
