Very much the same experience as another reviewer. The sticker price on the car was $3000 higher when we sat down to figure out the price. Apparently there were other packages included in the car that weren't listed on the window sticker? Just a bad experience all the way around. The salesman I spoke to actually told me how he was in another persons desk who was out that day so he could be closer to the door when people came in :/ I understand why, but did he have to tell me?

As a home mechanic I can appreciate a dealerships woes with certain customers. Often the people are to blame with failed service. I'm telling you strait up, run away. This dealership makes no attempt at even fair service. Just walk around the lot and find all the nails sharp metals and the overall sloppy, careless property. Cars parked 6 inches from each other etc. Seriously, check out Rt. 130

I did an extensive search for a veracruz throughout the tristate/new england region. I found that the internet department (particularly Penny- manager) was the most helpful and patient of the 15+ dealerships I worked with. She took time searching other states/regions for the particular trim model and options I was looking for while not wasting my time insisting on me visiting the showroom for further details and price negotiations. I reside ~1.5 hrs from their dealership and work 80+ hrs/wk. She understood that I would make the trip if she could provide the car and price that I wanted. While most dealership internet departments tell you they'll get back to you with inventory/pricing information shortly, she actually came through, responding to many requests in a very timely manner- almost immediately. She was ultmately able to offer an extremely competitive price with the details I requested in a fourth amount of the time.
I also received phone calls from two different sales managers ensuring that everything that could be done during this process was being done. I would recommend her and this dealership to anyone local and even those who do their research and are willing to travel.

I went to look at a Sonata which they had advertised (brand new 2009) for 15545 - I asked a few days before online chat, they confirmed that was the price, again asked the day before via phone they confirmed and then several times while at the dealership. When it came time to do the "numbers" they then let us know the real price of the car .... I wish they would have just said it before we wasted our time. I will buy a new car but it wont be from these guys - also while we were talking the "numbers" the other salespeople were just staring and listening in - very uncomfortable!!
I wanted to say to them, go find something to do...

I recently went to Burns because I was interested in the Veracruz. The dealership is convenient and we have purchased two cars from Burns in the past several years. I had done my research knew what price range I was dealing with and just wanted to see how the car drove before I made a deal. I made it known that I was customer twice before. This must have made them think I was twice as stupid. The first price offered was $5000 over the MSRP (you know the price on the window). In addition the monthly payment which was supposed to be 0% APR was clearly not. According to their "0%" I would have paid $4000 in interest over the 60 months.
I am going to buy a Veracruz but it wont be from Burns. No customer loyalty appreciation here! Beware and crunch the numbers before you go.
