DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY! DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS GYM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED, LIED TO AND THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY!

I was offered a free 30 day membership but had to come in and meet with a manager to give me the full tour. I went in at the FFC in Mount Laurel and Dan seemed really nice throughout the tour and bragged about how great they're gym is and how exclusive they are. Dan lied and signed me on a 1 year contract and they won't let me cancel. Corporate doesn't even bother to care of contact you back. I will be pursuing legal matters on this issue.

This Future Fitness's womens'locker room is always clean; the machines are well maintained; and there are always updated state of the art cardio and strength training equipment. The spinning classes are challenging and there is a good variety of other group classes to take part in and they do not cost anything extra. The pool is well maintained and salt water, so there is no chlorine "burn: in your eyes and when I have swam laps, the other members are courteous and stay in their lanes.I have tried a few classes, one being Zumba and it is a great cardio workout and really fun.
The Atmosphere is relaxed and not like another gym I belonged to where you had to "get out of the way of the muscleheads." There are all ages and body shapes and sizes that belong and it is a comfortable place to workout without having a body builder physique. Lastly, I have been a member of Future Fitness for over twelve years and it continues to update its classes and have an array of choices to help maintain your interest in exercising. On a final note I was laid off from my job for six months and I took advantage of the gym on a daily basis. I got to see how consistent they are with how they maintain things. I also purchased private pilates and training sessions with Doria and lost 20 lbs and gained confidence and a sense of purpose when I really needed it. Doria and the other employees of the gym were supportive, took the time to greet me personally and to get to know me. I was never judged and always applauded for my efforts and successes. I made many friends there, as the "crowd" that uses the gym are all serious about fitness and nobody seems to look at how one is dressed. The people I encounter are down to earth and courteous.

I have been working out at Future Fitness for over 10 years. I am very impressed with the facility: great equipment, clean facility, convenient hours, and lots of options for classes. I have been working with a personal trainer, Doria, for over 6 years. She is absolutely great. I train twice a week: Pilates reformer one day and machines and weights the other day. Doria has really helped me with my balance. I was unable to walk down steps without holding on and now, thanks to Doria, I am able to walk down without holding on. I look forward to my sessions with Doria and they are a wonderful break from the everyday stresses of life.

I wish there was a way to give this place Zero stars. I really think it was that bad. I walked in with my brother for a tour and i was greeted with the absoute rudest business owner i've ever met. Basically i asked a simple question about what they had and what it costs and he said "u come in to my gym, ur gonna listen to what i have to say." my brother thought i was gonna snap. on the surface it seemed like a half decent gym as far as facilities and equipment. However, they will tell you that many of the things they have are patented and exclusive to their gym. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I've seen all what they have from the straps to the neumatic machines in small locals gyms in various places in the US. But honestly, this place could've been the best gym on the planet, which it isn't even though Mike thinks it is, and i still wouldnt spend my money here. Save yourself the time and stay away. There are plenty other greats gyms nearby that you'll llove

Did not complete tour of facility as I was insulted and berated while trying to obtain information to consider joining. I explained that I was uncomfortable with having to make a decision to join under the special rate upon my initial visit that expires once I leave. Things went downhill from there. I was looked up and down and then told that it was obvious that I needed help after I initially went over my medical history explaining that I was injured while serving, had unsuccessful surgeries and my physical health was adversely affected. I was also told that my condition was minor in comparison to other members that attend this facility who have far more crippling ailments. The salesman (Will) informed me that he knew more about physiology than I did. He also commented on my purse stating that the membership fees which he never disclosed were less expensive. Entirely inappropriate as he was not aware how my purse was acquired and irregardless of the fact, my personal belongings had no place in the conversation. I was told that memberships are exclusive and that everyone that inquires about memberships are not offered the opportunity to join as it may not be a good fit. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable with being coerced to make an abrupt decision, the salesman became antagonastic. I informed him that I was simply gathering information as I was shopping around. He started grilling me about what I was looking for and made me feel like I was making excuses for not wanting to take care of my health. Also, I mentioned my background in bodybuilding and how I was once very comfortable with weight training equipment and he attacked me saying that my routines were outdated, wouldn't work for my situation now and that I needed to think logically. I started to walk away at this point because I felt a few choice words coming to mind that I wanted to say but chose not to. The salesman then states oh you're walking away, I'm trying to help you, we don't need your money or membership, this information is for your benefit and this is a place of business. At that point, I was Very upset, I smiled, thanked him for his time and walked out. I never felt so berated, I left in tears. I just moved to the area recently. I was very angry about my injuries and I finally found the courage to do something that I once loved and felt I lost. I was just looking for information in hopes to find a home gym where I could feel comfortable being apart of.

No one deserves this type of treatment. If their sales tactics are to make people feel bad about themselves, pinpoint their setbacks/limitations to make a deal, then Shame on them! No business should be allowed to practice in this manner. You can also google complaints on them as well.

STEER CLEAR!! Don't bother scheduling an appointment.

Finally a gym that isn't too hot to work out in. More often than not you end up working out in a sauna. Not here. I can build up to a sweat instead of starting out in one.

I've never worked out somewhere before that gives me a free trainer appointment each month. I have a few sessions now and am seeing a lot of improvement. The trainers even help me out with equipment when I'm not doing a session.

Have been a member for 3 years. My association with the fitness center had its ups and downs, but here is the gist:

1. once they know your needs and requirements, the manager would start his cheap games of trying to lock you in some never ending agreement.
2. you will never realize how difficult it is to get out of their contract.
3. there is a zillion fine print clause that makes life miserable if you try altering your membership in some way.
4. All smiling faces from reception to manager will show true colors when you contact about an unusual service, eg. international travel (account freeze), moving to neighboring facility or even termination.

Be Xtremely cautious with them in case you decide to join.

Cons: 0 customer service

I really enjoy going to use the pool on a daily basis. I am dedicated to doing my laps, but have started taking some aqua classes too. I love the way I feel after a class. Family Swim on Sundays is fun too. I get to bring my daughter for a few hours of pool time.

No matter what class I take or what time of day or what day of the week, I always get a great workout during the spin classes. Future Fitness has the best spin instructors. I even go for the spin class specials held on holidays. Great workout!!

This gym is awesome! I've been a member for years. The facility is clean, the machines are in great condition, the staff is nice and it's a great value. The amenities are terrific. You get a free training session once a month (and this is not a gimmick, they don't rush you through, you get a real session!), free nurses appt where you can keep track of your fitness goals, great classes, juice bar, chiropractor on site...I mean the list goes on and on. There's not much more you can ask for in a fitness center. I see all the other reviews and laugh. No doubt it's a hard sell, but so what? Are you buying the sales guys or are you really looking for a great gym and to make fitness a part of your life? Highly recommend this place.

I joined this gym after sitting through their 2 hour sales pitch, but be prepared to bring your lawyer with you if you ever have to get out of the contract early. It's all in there so read it first before you sign, better yet don't sign, go somewhere else, anywhere else. In addition to the outrageous up front fee it will cost you three (3) yes, three months worth of fees when you try to get out. I think the only positive reviews on this gym must have been written by the idiots who work there. This place is TERRIBLE.

I have been a member of the turnersville facility since the beginning and I am still there. I have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is great and always helpful if I have a problem or question. I love the variety of classes that they offer. They have the most convenient hours as I do get up early (4 am) to go to work out before work - if it was not for the early hours I probably would not go. They have a vast variety of equipment to keep you motivated. The instructors are great, along with the trainers. The free monthly trainer and nurse are also a plus as no other gym I have been to offers this. Once again, I am extremely satisfied and would not trade Future Fitness for any other gym.

Who is looking to get ripped off? If you are, look no further than Future Fitness in Mt. Laurel. They make you feel your joining a private club, until you sign on the dotted line, and they take your money. From this point on, there is more a feeling of 'your lucky you can come in' than 'welcome to your club'. Cold, and unfriendly.

And then there is getting out. I have spent 5 months trying to cancel my membership, and to this moment, am still getting billed (at double the monthly fee). I have read the fine print, dotted all i's, crossed all t's...still they continue this dis-service. The best part is when I call to speak with the Manager, who promptly comes on and says "this is not my problem, I run the gyms, it sounds more like your problem". Excellent customer service from a delightful gym.

I would reccommend this membership to my enemies, and those looking to get incredibly irritated. If you don't fit these criteria, STAY AWAY!!!

We are so thrilled with our decision to join Future Fitness! There are perks to membership that no other gym gives you - like free trainers, the best equipment, and great classes. It's always clean, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Lots of locations gives you flexibility of where you can work out based on your schedule. I would never waste my time anywhere else. You get a lot for your money.

When I signed up for membership here, I told the male manager I would be moving within the year. He said it would be "no problem" for me to get out of the contract. NOW - they are charging me for 3 MONTHS AFTER I filled out the cancellation form because I live within "25 miles" of the closest FF gym. I DON'T OWN A CAR AND LIVE IN THE CITY SO HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET TO THEIR GYM.

Managers will say anything to you to get you to sign up for a contract. Liars. It is a shame. They need training in customer service.

High pressure sales. A shady and unclear way of working with people. Poor customer service. The gym itself is only okay. I joined several years ago when there weren't many other gyms in the area and now I'm leaving to join a better gym. Several of my friends have already left and are very pleased they have. I don't know what else to say except if you joined this gym then you either didn't do the hassle to research it or you just didn't care. There are so many better places.

My wife and I just moved back to the area recently and we wanted to join a local gym. So we made our way down to Future Fitness for the "free" two week trial they advertised on their web site. When we got there we were forced to sit through a 1 1/2 hour sales pitch where I really don't think the salesman listened to anything I said to him. It seemed to me that he was reading from a script that he uses on every person that walks in the door. He just keep asking me over and over what my fitness goals are and if I was self motivated to come use the gym, even after I told him about a dozen times that I have been going to the gym 7 days a week for the last year and a half and the only reason I needed to join a new gym was because my old gym is 500 miles away, but that did not stop his constant questions on motivation and goals. At one point I just told the guy that I know people who go here and I just want to freaking join so give me a stinking price.

Oh and another thing they say in the pitch is that they limit the membership so you have to "qualify" to join and they only want people who are going to use the gym on a regular basis. I found this to be really funny because for a place that limits its membership they have no less then 3 sales people working at any giving time and they use a very formulated sales pitch.

After the pitch and I started using the guy I like it a lot. going to the nurse before you start a program really helps you see the progress your making.

the one complaint I have is that free weight area is really under stocked. there are only one set of dumb bells for each weight and there are a very limited number of free standing benches to use the dumbbell's on.

This is a great gym with great equipment, it?s clean and has top of the line stuff. The people that work there on the other hand are rude and obnoxious. One guy in particular who goes by the name "pump dog? is the biggest pompous d|ck around, a complete and total idiot. I moved from Mt. Laurel to Marlton and the gym just was not that convenient for my anymore, so I tried to cancel my membership......Oh My God...you would have thought that I was trying to convert the man's religion. Totally agree with the last post that the sales pitch they give you would rival any time share or used car lot

I just became a member because I think I could benefit from this gym. At other gyms I would be afraid of not knowing how to develop a routine with the weight machines and not progressing, That's the reason I joined Future Fitness so that I could constanly be changing my routine with the help of the free personal trainers every month. But you just have to ignore the scary BS sales pitch they give you. It lasted over 2 hours and I didn't even get to try out the gym first. I had to talk to a saleperson first, then his manager. Those 2 hours were terrible and they made me feel like a idiot but now that I got through that I'm excited about working out at their facility. So just be prepared and pretend to listen to their fluff.

I just became a member because I think I could benefit from this gym. Pros: extraordinary benefits

Cons: staff not too friendly, no uniforms either
