Unfortunately, this is the only stable in the area, so I'm forced to take my lessons here, but I'm very disappointed. The facilities are excellent. Very clean, roomy and the indoor ring is huge. The grooms are also very helpful and friendly.

The school horses are decent and well taken care of, but not great. With the exception of a few, they all have major flaws like 'this one trips over its own feet, this one won't trot, this one spooks'. A lot of the school horses are ridden both english and western, so if you ride english, expect a 'western jog' for a trot.

The real issue is the lessons and instructors. Because it's a large facility with like 7 instructors, there's always multiple lessons going on at once. Not only is the ring very crowded, but it's hard to listen to your instructor when there are 3 of them yelling out directions at the same time. I was hoping to be assigned an instructor who would help me define and reach my goals. I got an instructor who asked 'when's the last time you rode? ok good' and was texting on his cell phone for most of the 30 minute, $55 lesson. He put me on a horse that had to be hit with a crop to trot and looked like he was about to keel over and die. If I hadn't bought a package of lessons, I wouldn't have gone back. The next time, I got a different instructor, who was much more helpful, and a way better horse. The lesson was better, but the ring was so crowded, every time we tried to do something, there was another horse and rider in the way. Unless you are super-rich and looking to show, you're pretty much a pain in the butt and not worth their time. I'm going to use up my lesson package here and that will probably be it for my riding. I'm really bummed, because I was looking forward to this as an enjoyable hobby, but this just isn't the place.

Beautiful, nicely maintained facility with a huge indoor, large outdoor, minimal turnouts for the horses. Barns are impeccably clean and all riders come out with a good basic seat to go on to any discipline should they not want to pursue huntseat.

I love this place. They have a huge beautiful indoor that is great for winter riding. Full of great horses for every level. A nice outdoor riding ring as well. Professional and lovely staff. My only complaint is that they don't have a lot of property due to housing development. Thus the horses just have small round pen turnouts. A little pricey to board your own horse, but pristine and pretty! They even have a small tack store if you need to pick up an item or two, and can order items for you as well. I would highly recomend to anyone wanting to take lessons, but would not recomend if you want to board your horse and would like all day turn out for them.
