This is a fondue place, so if you're willing to cook your own food, then this is the place for you. The ambiance is cozy and very intimatee. The dessert is the best part of the meal. You are given a choice of chocolate that will be melted and used to dip into with fruits that wil be served. A dinner for two, however, is a bit too much. Be prepared to shell out about $100 for a meal for two.

Its a different kind of restaurant. Its all fondue and you order you meat, breads, fruit, vegetables to dip in the fondue. Good for dessert.. Order chocolate fondue with fruit. Very expensive could cost up to 50 per person sometimes.
4Best fondue place ever. In one word,..AMAZING!
If you want to have a romantic night for two make sure to ask to sit in lovers lane ;)
Its a very romantic setting, a small booth for only two people..in a dim light.

The Melting Pot in Westwood is a hopping eatery that opened fairly recently and has a huge customer base because of its novel approach to dining. The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant--which basically means that everything you eat will be prepared by you at your table.
Inside, the attractive, modern decor and dim lighting make for a romantic and chic dining experience. It has plenty of tables and a separate area for parties, which is where I had my bridal shower.
The menu is fantastic, if not pricey. There is a four course meal, for example, that is "fondue for two"--prices are in the $60 range. The fare is top notch fresh salmon, steak, lobster--all delicious and cooked fondue style in boullion or other broth-based seasoning.
The chocolate fondue desserts are out of this world, and the specialty drinks like a chocolate martini or Irish coffee are delectable treats.
Reservations are a must at The Melting Pot. My bridal shower guests had an absolutely wonderful meal and time at this establishment--we were able to over fine wines and the friendly staff was efficient and eager to be of assistance. This is a special restaurant!
PROS: Great trendy fondue fare!
CONS:
