I can sum this company up in 2 words: amateur hour. Use at your own risk, they are terrible and unprofessional.

I have never used this company so I cannot commnet on their quality of work. Garden State Carpet Cleaners was observed 4 times this summer dumping their toxins and dirty liquid from their carpet cleaning machine into the sewers. Unfortuntately, I did nothing about. Yesterday, 11/29/2009, at approx 11:45 am this company empty a smelly, filthy brown liquid into the sewer in front of my house. This cannot be legal or safe. As someone who is expecting his first child next week I resent the possible contamination of my community and drinking water. There has to be a proper way to dispose of this material and my guess is this company does not want to pay the money to dispose of it properly. There has to be an audit trail cross-filing the jobs they have done with the lack of receipts/evidence showing proper disposal. My guess they have no proof of proper disposal let alone the proof they will need to illustrate proper disposal in line with the number of carpets cleaned in 2009 etc... I have filed a report with the local police, State DEP and National EPA. I have also contacted the Mayor's office and the BBB. I will update this post as more information is rec'd. If the actions of this company do not bother you then by all means use them.

After a long semester of college and a lot of unwanted stains on my carpet I had it washed and dried by Garden State. The service was fast and affordable. I will use them for all my future semesters.
