I was given a prescription for support stockings due to a problem with my leg. My husband called to see if they were in stock and was told that I would need to be measured for them and to come in and ask for Kim. He was also told they were in the $40 to $50 dollar range.
When we went in to the store Kim, who to my knowledge was just a sales clerk took my measurement, but on the normal leg, not the swollen one, which is quite a bit larger, hence the need for compression stockings. When I questioned her and if the stockings were going to fit properly she got REALLY snotty and told me they would. She then asked me if I wanted closed or open toe. I said closed and she came back with the open toe style and informed me they were $62.00.
I left at that point, as she made me uncomfortable and I wasn't going to spend that much on something that had been in my opinion fitted incorrectly. We then went to Rands instead where I found out from a rather capable staff member that she had in fact fitted me incorrectly, and the stockings she insisted I needed were a size too small. I can honestly say I'll never set foot in Community Surgical Supply ever again. Kim seems to think that because they gave her some scrubs that she's an MD and is NOT an asset to this business!

The office staff is of no help! They don't return calls! They don't make sure you get what you need! The staff must have changed since the other person was there in 2008

My mother had to get crutches here and we were very pleased with how friendly the staff was. The prices are definitely cheaper pretty cheap here, so I would recommend it if you ever need any sort of medical supply.

The staff here offer very good service, and the store has a selection of nursing supplies, including scrubs. There are also geriatric supplies, such as wheelchairs, canes, and they have refills in oxygen tanks. The prices are really cheap, so I recommend going here when you need medical supplies.
