Like stepping back in time. 60s style-decor like the popular tiki-themed restaurants that were popular then. Great tropical cocktails like the zombie and mai-tai are cheap and potent. The food is good, not great. The portions are huge and the dim sum and apps are better than the main courses. Got the duck and it was fatty but tasty too. Some of the entrees are a little over-priced ($18+ for Chinese food?) Service is okay only because waiters are these little old Chinese guys who are a little brusque. If you know what you're ordering and not difficult, you'll be fine! They even serve the fried noodles and duck sauce like I remember as a kid. Overall a great place, hope it never changes!

Pros: Ambience, decor, atmosphere, cocktails, dumplings

Cons: cost

I came here for dinner with a group of about 18 people. We enjoyed the tiki decor and year-round Christmas decorations. The menu selection lived up to expectations, but the food itself wasn't that great. Some of the table ordered ice cream for dessert, and some people shared it. The entire table ended up getting charged for ice cream, which increased the bill overall by maybe $5. When we tried to dispute the charge, the management would not budge. For such a small amount of money, a very bad taste was left in everyone's mouth.

This is one of the best chinese restaurants ever. A bit pricey, but between the great food, diversified menu, wonderful waiters and help staff and ambiance, it's worth it.
