Kaizen is by far the best Family Martial Arts school in the area. My son started training there about 6+1/2 years ago after visiting several other schools. We chose Kaizen because it just felt right. The family atmosphere, the positive training philosophy, the friendly and talented instructors, all made us feel like it would be a great place for him to train, learn and grow. From the first day, he loved it and couldn't get enough. Shortly after he started, I also began my journey back into the Martial Arts. I had trained for several years in the late 70's, 80's and early 90's but figured my Karate years were behind me. I was wrong. I began taking the Adult Kickboxing class and lost 29 lbs. in 6 months. I also started training in the style of Karate my son was learning and it became a great bonding experience for us. The school has grown since we started, but we have grown more. My son will be testing for his 2nd Degree Black Belt later this year and has also added Muay Thai, Hapkido, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and several weapons to his repertoire. More importantly though, his discipline, focus, respect, self-discipline and confidence are all at a very high level. He has also made several very close friends here. Kaizen has become our martial arts family and our martial arts home.

I enrolled my son in classes here and not even 6 weeks later I realized that he was going to be unable to continue going. When I attempted to cancel my calls were not returned, I sent letters and those went unanswered as well. When I contacted Educational Funding Company which is who does the billing for Kaizen I was promised a return call that I didn't receive and when I called back and spoke to the rep all she could say is I need to go to the school and speak with them. So essentially I was given the run around. Take your money elsewhere because after they sign you up that's it. Customer satisfaction is last on the list of things to do at this school.

I just started going here for kick boxing and have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. I was able to participate in two classes before deciding if it was for me. I have met three instructors and they are all very cool: Stacy, Frank and Mike. They really know their stuff and work you hard. The people who go here seem to be very nice and welcoming as well. It is local and the prices seem reasonable ($99/mo) considering I get to go up to 5 times per week for classes. The classes are small enough where you get instructor time which I like a lot. Good facility.
