This place is a great restaurant in the North Ironbound section of Newark. It boasts a variety of authentic Portuguese fair with some Spanish and Italian flare infused into the menu. The wait staff was very attentive and they always made sure my glass of (delicious) sangria was full. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the owner even came out to make sure everything was good. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we plan on going back.

The food here is pretty good, but it is definitely lacking in atmosphere. The dining room upstairs is fine, but the room for catering downstairs is like a dungeon. The prices are good for what you get though, so if you're going to go here, go for the dining room.
